It is the latest in the trend of live singing during film screenings at The Hollywood Bowl. The new production will debut the 2007 film version of Beauty and the Beast.

“Performing Beauty and the Beast, one of my favorite movies growing up, in a special concert at the legendary Hollywood Bowl is a dream come true. I am looking forward to what I’m sure will be a magical event,” explained Deschanel in a press release announcing her exciting news.

The actress is the perfect choice to play the iconic character. She is not only talented when it comes to acting, but she is also an amazing singer. In fact, there could not be a better choice than the brunette beauty who definitely looks the part of Princess Belle.

It is going to be a star-studded event when Beauty and the Beast is performed live at The Hollywood Bowl. Jane Krakowski will belt out Mrs. Potts. Taye Diggs will flex his muscles as Gaston, with Rebel Wilson as his trusty sidekick LeFou.
