We've loved Zac Efron since he rose to prominence as fresh-faced Troy Bolton in the High School Musical franchise. While we totally shipped Zac and Vanessa, we may have a new favorite couple in town. After all, we need something to dry our tears after the shock announcement of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan earlier this week. Rumors have been flying around that Zac has been cozying up to his Baywatch co-star Alexandra Daddorio for a while now - and it looks like they're not just rumors after all.

According to People, the actors have been seeing each other "on and off" since working together on the movie last year, but have yet to make it official. Hollywood has been abuzz with speculation that the painfully handsome couple are a pair for months, but this report is the closest confirmation we've seen. Earlier this week the A-listers were spotted walking their dogs and shopping in popular pet store Tailwaggers in Los Angeles. TMZ said the pair "looked like a couple", with those lucky enough to spot them on their day out stating they were laughing and enjoying spending time together. Daddario brushed off the rumors last year when she was asked by E!. "We work together very closely, he's my love interest in the film. I understand why people would go crazy over something like that, but Zac and I are very good friends."

Both of the star's have shared snaps of the other on their respective Instagram accounts, with Daddario posting a picture of herself blowing out her birthday candles last month. Zac shared a candid of the pair hugging on March 16th, with the caption "Happy birthday to one of the most real, down to earth, stunning, intelligent, creative, loving and most rare Pokémon ever created #alexdaddario."

We don't know about you, but it certainly looks like they're dating to us. Just another romance created by the media, or is true love burning an eternal flame for these two? Let us know what you think in the comments!
