Everyone has their routines that they do to help them have a successful day. Whether it's a productive morning routine, night routine or workout regimen (or a combination of the three), practicing such a thing on a regular basis can help you feel better about yourself. While it may take some time getting used to any new routine, it can be possible if you stick to it enough.
In the case of English singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding, 32, she loves to start her day with a morning stretch routine. It appears to be how she likes to wake herself up every morning. She recently decided to share this stretch routine of hers in an IGTV video her posted onto her Instagram page.
"Yoga bum," she started her caption with. "I was a bit distracted by a camera person outside but you get the gist of this detoxifying stretch routine I do most mornings. I usually wake up feeling groggy and this feels like it pumps the blood back round again."
Goulding's stretch routine appears to be comprised of various Vinyasa yoga positions. With the video being just under three minutes long (and set to the song "Bad Blood" by Nao), it's a routine that you could adapt yourself for everyday use. Better yet, you can practice it at the gym, at home, or even in the outdoors (weather permitting, of course). It's the ideal stretching routine that can be done anywhere and anytime.
This can be added as another notch in Goulding's fitness inspiration belt. She's posted many videos and photos in the past of her practicing boxing, rock climbing, and weight training. She's also participated in marathons before, since she's known to be an avid runner, too. So to say that she's a bit of an athletic nut would be more than a bit of an understatement.
While adding this to your everyday life may be difficult at first, you could adapt Goulding's stretch routine to your routine, too. It could be the thing that helps you focus while relaxing your body. Whether you do it in the morning or at night, it'll surely help you out, too. Give it an honest shot!
