New York Fashion Week was in full force and Whoopi Goldberg was turning heads for all the right reasons.

While celebrities, fashion designers, and models can tell fellow shoppers to “just be yourself”, it seems as if Whoopi Goldberg is living her life according to that motto and proved it during her recent appearances at many NYFW shows.

The View host attended shows for designers such as Christian Siriano, Chromat, Jason Wu, and Ulla Johnson, and was stealing the thunder while she sat in the front row.

The 61-year-old sat beside stars such as Laverne Cox and Cardi B at Siriano’s show, and told Interview Magazine that Siriano’s “10th-anniversary runway show was spectacular.” One thing that we think is spectacular is Whoopi’s take on life and how she presents herself to the world.

The talk show host attended shows with body positivity messages, which she is a passion and belief she stands firm in. It was very clear that Whoopi doesn’t buy into the NYFW hype and doesn’t attempt to be something she’s not.

According to E! Whoopi isn’t here to impress and “doesn’t care if you like her outfit.” As an Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and Oscar award-winning star, Whoopi keeps her wardrobe casual with an eclectic twist that only she can pull off.

The Ghost actress appeared at the Chromat show in a denim jacket, blue jeans, and zebra-print clogs. Yes, you heard that right, zebra-print clogs. When asked about the show, Whoopi said, “This is the best show I’ve ever seen… I saw everyone represented and it doesn’t get better than that,” and surely it doesn’t!

We’re happy this year's NYFW showcased clothing for people of all sizes. Despite the gowns and haute-couture coming down the New York runways, the actress remained true to her own sense of style, and we are absolutely loving her for it!
