The 10 Weirdest Japanese Inventions

The Japanese are famous for their groundbreaking inventions. They’re continually thinking outside the box, which results in the roll out of gadgets we’ve all thought about in the back of our minds. The only difference is, what we think about, they bring to fruition. Sometimes the result is astounding such as the I-Fairy that gives tours of museums; other times the results are, for lack of a better word, totally weird!

Strange as they may be, many of their inventions make total sense – it’s just extremely fascinating that the Japanese took it upon themselves to put them on the market. Who would think to actually create umbrella shoes? What about a chin stand you can bring with you on the metro? The Japanese, that’s who. Everyone’s thought about these things, they’re just the only ones who have actually gone ahead and invented them.

You have to hand it to them, taking daily hitches and trying to make them better with these inventions is a generous thought. The finished products just turned out to be completely whacky. Check out the 10 weirdest inventions the Japanese have brought into this world. They might even motivate you to get a little bit creative yourself.
