Makeup brand Urban Decay has long been known for its eyeshadow palettes. Their best-sellers include palettes that offer a variety of nude shades in matte and shimmer finishes. Their signature "Naked Palette" has a 4.8/5.0 star rating on Sephora's website, with its other Naked products following closely behind.

Beauty-buyers tend to get excited whenever the company releases a new palette, especially as the brand boasts high quality product that is wearable and accessible for a variety of budgets. A Naked palette will set one back $54 (U.S.), but for this price, the buyer receives 12 eyeshadows, a "double-ended" shadow brush, and packaging that includes a sizable mirror to be used when applying the products.

Urban Decay has not yet announced the release of another Naked palette, but they are dropping an exclusive palette just in time for the summer.

"Lightbeam" is purchasable only at Macy's, and is available online today (May 8th), and will release tomorrow (May 9th) in-store.

This palette features 5 shimmery-shades, described as "Sunset vibes for your eyes" on Urban Decay's Instagram page. The first shade is called "Nudie", a perfect matte muted-pink color. The second is "Vibe", a stunning golden-brown that we believe would pair excellently with "Nudie" for everyday wear. The third shade (our personal favorite) is "Paradox", a funky orange shimmer. The fourth shadow, "Golden Hour", packs a punch as a glittery "burnt red" shade, and the last shade, "Influence" appears to be the palette's darkest, a brown shade with a metallic gold shine. Gorg!

The palette costs $24 (U.S.) which seems completely reasonable for 5 gorgeous and versatile shades. 5-shadow palettes are also awesome for travel, and can let a shopper try out some of the shades that a brand offers before committing to a larger and more expensive palette.

Urban Decay shadows are said to be "velvety", ultra blend-able, and provide great color payoff on the lids. We will have to wait for the reviews of this palette before we can share if it's truly up to snuff in terms of quality, but for now we are admiring the beautiful, shimmery shades on Instagram.
