As an actress Meghan Markle undoubtedly spent endless hours in the makeup chair, therefore, it should come as no surprise that the Duchess of Sussex knows a thing or two about makeup. A close friend recently revealed to People that aside from her wedding, Meghan does all her own makeup for public appearances. "She’s very self-service,” the friend added.

Given that her every single move and look is scrutinized, Meghan is not only self-service, she’s also self-confident in doing her own makeup. This week, Meghan, who is expected to give birth this spring, attended the Endeavour Fund Awards, which celebrate the achievements of members of the Armed Forces Community who were injured or fell ill in service, but have used sport as part of their recovery and rehabilitation. Wearing a white Givenchy blouse and a black skirt, the Duchess served up royal realness with a perfect smoky eye, voluminous lashes, and sun-kissed cheeks.

Also, at a recent Cirque du Soleil performance, which benefitted Prince Harry's charity Sentebale — an organization that helps youth affected by HIV in Lesotho, Botswana, and Malawi, Meghan wore a dark berry lipstick shade that perfectly contrasted her blue Roland Mouret gown and paid tribute to Princess Diana by wearing a gold bracelet that once belonged to Prince Harry’s mother.

And while visiting Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga last fall, the Duchess looked flawless as she went from one event to the next. At one stop, Meghan rocked a Philip Treacy hat over her flowing mane and showcased her draping skills, aka contouring with blush, which gave her an impeccable Down Under glow.

Finally, Meghan, who is known to accentuate her spotless skin with bronzer, attended Princess Eugenie's Royal Wedding last fall wearing a semi-matte nude lipstick, and sparkling bronzer swept across her cheeks. The look contrasted from her own wedding day, when she wore sheer, fresh makeup for an understated appearance.
