Trixie Mattel, a popular drag queen who first appeared on the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and went on to win the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars, is designing a makeup collection with the beauty brand Sugarpill.

Trixie began her career as a drag queen after performing in a production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in college. She began to gain a local following in Milwaukee and Chicago, and she was eventually selected to compete on season seven of Drag Race, which aired in 2015. However, Trixie also worked as a makeup artist before appearing on Drag Race—in fact, she had already enrolled in The Institute of Beauty and Wellness before the season began. She had to drop out in order to compete, but she hasn’t forgotten her passion for makeup, and her new collection is inspired by her drag persona.

Fans of Trixie had been asking Sugarpill to collaborate with her for years: the brand has already worked with famous drag queens like Kim Chi, and other queens have also expressed their love for Sugarpill. Sugarpill announced the long-awaited collection, appropriately named “Oh, Honey!” after Trixie’s famous catchphrase, on August 17th.

Trixie wanted to create shades that were bright and colorful enough to be used in a drag look, yet appropriate for everyday wear as well. The collection includes blush, eyeshadow, and liquid lipstick in a range of flirty pink and neutral shades. With cute Drag Race inspired shades like “All Star” and “Life-Size,” this collection is sure to please any drag fans.

Over the past few years, Trixie has demonstrated time and time again that her talents are not limited to drag. She teamed up with fellow Drag Race star Katya Zamolodchikova to record the hilarious web series UNHhhh, and the two also performed a drag version of the film Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. She also released her country music albums Two Birds and One Stone to positive reviews, and she has toured internationally doing stand-up comedy shows. It’s clear that she’s going to be in the spotlight for quite a while.

The limited edition “Oh, Honey!” collection will be released on September 5th. Are you loving the drag-inspired makeup trend? Will you be snapping up these exclusive shades? Let us know in the comments!
