Beauty bloggers on Instagram are all about affordable skincare, so when a great product comes along at a decent price, it will undoubtedly go viral. The latest trending product is the Blueberry Açaí Facial Scrub, which can be picked up along with your groceries at Trader Joe's at the low cost of $6.
Instagram's top beauty news account, Trendmood (@trendmood1) took a break from announcing the latest beauty releases to rave about Trader Joe's scrub. The account's owner shared that their husband went to pick up groceries and came back with this scrub, along with a facial cleansing oil, which they were extremely excited to try out. The skincare product has been available for years in the health and beauty section of Trader Joe's.
Many users commented on the photo to say that they've tried the product and love it, adding that they will always choose this scrub over high-end products. Some users said that, because of Trendmood's post, they would be going to grab a jar for themselves at the nearest Trader Joe's as soon as possible.

The Blueberry Açaí Facial Scrub contains U.S.-grown blueberries that are pureed, pasteurized, and frozen until it is time to be mixed with açaí fruit extract, according to Trader Joe's website. Alpha-hydroxy acids help to exfoliate the skin, while colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, meadowfoam seed oil, and plant extracts soothe.
A fingerful of the scrub is meant to be massaged in a circular motion onto the face before rinsing. You'll find the best results when used two to three times a week and followed with a daily sunscreen, as Alpha-hydroxy acids can increase sensitivity to the sun.
Instagram user @stashmatters shared their review and unique routine for using the facial scrub. They love the product, but instead of using it as a scrub, they apply it as more of a mask. The user, who goes by Stashy, applies an even layer onto their face and lets it sit for 15 minutes before scrubbing lightly with water and rinsing. The result is an ultra-smooth, ultra-soft face.
They also recommended Trader Joe's Coconut Body Butter, which is available for only $4.99.
