Scented makeup has been one of the top trends so far throughout the first half of 2018 and Too Faced is about to release what we expect to be the best addition to the trend to date.

We currently live in a world that is dominated by trends and constant change. By the time you get around to updating your smartphone about three more up-to-date versions are available. Every season designers across the globe release new lines and all of a sudden pretty much everything in your wardrobe is out of date.

While that isn't exactly the case for the makeup industry it is still a world that sees a lot of different crazes, and one of the hottest makeup trends of 2018 is scented products. Lipstick that smells like chocolate, eyeshadow that is scented with lemon, it might sound unnecessary or strange, but if you think that then you probably haven't tried it!

Too Faced is about to add to what is quickly becoming an extensive amount of choice of scented makeup products. As reported by Bustle, the brand's founder and creative director, Jerrod Blandino, recently let fans take a first look at its upcoming "Tutti Frutti" line of cosmetics. As you can see from the Instagram post below, Blandino was very careful not to give too much away in the photo and caption.

We think that the "Sparking Pineapple" palette is the most intriguing product in the photo, and it's likely no accident that it takes center stage in the pic. Pineapple-themed everything seems to be popping up this summer.

As fans will know, this isn't the first time that Too Faced has dabbled with scented makeup. The company has released a variety of different palettes with various sweet themes such as chocolate, peanut butter and jelly, and the very popular peach range.

In fact, the eyeshadow palette in the peach line previously released by Too Faced proved to be so popular that Blandino issued a public apology on social media as the company struggled to keep up with demand. Hopefully, he and the brand will have learned their lesson ahead of the much-anticipated release of the "Tutti Frutti" range. There has already been a lot of feedback online and Too Faced fans are eagerly awaiting its release in Ulta.
