The Oscars is the biggest night in Hollywood for the awards, celebrities but mostly fashion. This event is the place to make a statement, from the red carpet to the Vanity Fair after-party celebrities came ready to show off the latest looks. A trend was women in suits, on both red carpets many women are opting for pants during the long night. Other trends were sparking dresses, although this is an Oscar must, lavender and beige were also popular Spring colors.

10 Zendaya

As usual, Zendaya showed up looking stunning and picking an incredibly unique and trendy gown. This two-piece features a satin crop with an open back and collar and is matched with a long sequin skirt. She announced on her Instagram story that she did her own makeup for the event.

She switched things up for the Vanity Fair after-party with a three-piece suit, joining the parade of women in suits this award season.

9 Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart has really stepped up her fashion game these last few months when promoting her film, Spencer, for which she was nominated for the Oscar for Best Actress for portraying Princess Diana.

During the film promotion tour, she wore a lot of Chanel tweed and Tulle dresses, but for the Oscars, she stayed true to herself with a modern almost punk-rock take on a suit.

8 Ariana DeBose

Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Anita in West Side Story, Ariana Debose looked stunning at the Oscars in a Valentine two-piece. She said in interviews that her look was fierce, and gave a nod to old Hollywood style with the color, but also comfortable.

The wide-leg pantsuit is paired with the bodice top and a luxurious shall match. DeBose is the first openly queen Afro-Latina to win in her category, she also won on the red carpet for her look.

7 Demi Singleton

Demi Singleton who portrayed Serena Williams in the Oscar-nominated film King Richard wore a standout gown on the red carpet. The young starlet picked a trending spring color, lavender, with beaded accents by Miu Miu.

The strapless dress with a hem falling right at her ankles is super modern and shows off the shoes.

6 Jada Pinkett Smith

Jada Pinkett Smith looked amazing in a stunning Jean Paul Gautier gown, with puffy ruffles, and sinched in the top to create texture. The long sleeve gown is balanced by the slit that interrupts the ruffles skirt.

The emerald green color was a standout for the popular colors this Spring.

5 Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion stunned the red carpet with this light blue gown by Gaurav Gupta. The sweetheart top is accented by cutouts, and the skirt has a modern take on old Hollywood ruffles, balanced out by a deep slit.

This wasn't her only stunning look, she surprised the audience with a performance alongside the cast of Encanto in the nominated song We Don't Talk About Bruno.

4 Saniyya Sidney

Another new starlet Saniyya Sidney who portrays Venus Williams in King Richard wore an incredible Armani dress decked out for spring. She definitely put her own spin on a classic Oscar's dress with the strapless top and princess cut skirt. Although the light blue with pink and purple beaded flowers makes this a standout dress for spring trends.

3 Maya Rudolph

Maya Rudolph gave a nod to old Hollywood glam with a modern twist. The long gown with furry accents at the sleeves and hem is very old Hollywood, but this bright orange color plays into the bold color trend that is continuing through spring. This spring isn't just about pastels, but bright hues as well.

2 Emilia Jones

Emilia Jones the breakout star of CODA which took home the Oscar for Best Picture, rocked the red carpet in a very trendy Dolce & Cabana sparkling gown. The beaded bra top with a drastic cut out that blends into a darker shade of beige sparkling long skirt is one of the most trendy gowns on the red carpet.

1 Jessica Chastin

Jessica Chastin took home the Oscar for Best Actress In A Leading Role for portraying Tammy Fay. She looked incredible in a Gucci gown, this dress really put together all of the current spring trends and also stayed true to old Hollywood glam.

From the sparkles to having both beige and lavender, and finishing the hem with a feathery plush that is both modern and classic, making this dress absolutely legendary. At the Vanity Fair after-party, she rocked a metallic green Gucci dress with a sweetheart neckline and a mermaid cut with a fun train to twirl or spin around in. In Chastin's acceptance speech she used her platform to speak about issues pertaining to the LGBTQIA+ community.
