The Bachelor’s Ashley Iaconetti has split with Kevin Wendt and now they are sharing what went wrong.

Less than a month after winning The Bachelor Winter Games, Iaconetti and Wentt have called it quits. E! News is reporting Wendt appeared on iHeartRadio's The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast, because he wanted a little clarification himself.

“It sounds a little harsh but it's just that lack of magic. We get along very well, but there's just a little something missing and you can't really pinpoint what it is. That's just how I feel," explained Iaconetti to her podcast co-host former The Bachelor Ben Higgins.

As for Wendt, well he didn’t necessarily disagree with his ex-girlfriend. He shared this happens when you meet in a very secluded setting, and that it was perfectly normal to not feel the same connection when returning to real life.

“You get those connections all the time where if you take away our outside world and just put Ashley and me on an island together, we'd probably get along really well and that's what Vermont was. And then you add in everything else, everyday interests to when we get up in the morning, there's just lifestyles where two people can go in different directions. It doesn't mean that they still don't love and respect each other. It just means if it doesn't line up and the older you get, the quicker you want to identify that," Wendt revealed.

The 34-year-old went on to share he now sees how as a couple he and Iaconetti were fighting an uphill battle. It is hard to maintain a relationship based in complete privacy, when the relationship started on television and then real life gets involved. Wendt also explained it was him missing her birthday because of work that put the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. She ended things shortly after that happened.

As for why the exes decided to share details of their relationship and break-up on the podcast, well... Iaconetti explained it to the listeners.

"We just wanted to get this out there together since we are on such friendly terms and be like, no guys, this is actually how it happened. Don't come up with your crazy theories," she shared.
