For the majority of 2018, Ariana Grande has been a hot topic. The pop star extraordinaire has been on a hell of a journey. She broke up with longtime love Mac Miller, became engaged to comedian Pete Davidson, suffered the tragic passing of her ex-boyfriend and had a very public split with her SNL lover. Ari marked the end of her trysts with the latest single, "thank u, next", which essentially the song all women want to yell in the direction of their exes. While the tune has been a hit for the actress-turned-singer, it's also spawned its fair share of memes and other oddities - including these incredible nails.

Why sit around and think about your ex when you can get "thank u, next" painted on your nails and wave them goodbye? Some talented artists have started to upload their nail work onto social media, and the internet is here for it. The lyric is good for pretty much anything. Mad at your friend and don't know what to say? "thank u, next!" Need a break from talking about a certain situation? "thank u, next!" the heck out of it. These gorgeous pink creations are from Nail Art by Jen, who loves the song so much she felt like she had to pay homage.

Ari herself has been seen rocking nails that look painfully similar to the official "thank u, next" artwork, but fans only have fleeting story videos to go on - we've yet to see if Miss G is wearing a full set of song-inspired nails. Grande pays tribute to Mac Miller in the song, calling him an angel.

She posted a throwback picture of the pair on her Instagram story to mark this Thanksgiving, with the caption "Miss you." The couple split sometime in May after Miller's personal struggles became too much for Ariana to handle. Weeks after the split, Ari faced backlash when she started dating Davidson. The couple became engaged after a just a couple of months, but called time on their romance shortly after the passing of Miller.
