Everyone knows Taylor Swift as that singer who used to write songs about her ex-boyfriends. People also identified her as a woman who dated a lot of guys. But, when put into perspective, she has dated 10 men in 11 years. 10 Joe Jonas (July- October 2008)
Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift had a 4-month relationship, which isn't exactly what many people would consider a long relationship. In fact, it's barely considered dating, yet when they broke up it was quite dramatic. It was dramatic as Joe Jonas ended the relationship over the phone.
After their breakup, Taylor released a song inspired by Joe Jonas called "Forever and Always." The lyrics in the song such as "Was I out of line? / Did I say something way too honest, made you run and hide / Like a scared little boy," represent some savage content.
9 Lucas Till (March 2009-April 2009)
Lucas Till is, in fact, the guy who was in Taylor Swift's music video for her smash hit "You Belong With Me." You can barely call what they had a relationship as they only dated for a month. Their relationship was shorter than the relationship that Taylor had with Joe Jonas.
In an MTV interview, Lucas mentioned that "We dated for a little bit. But, there was no friction because we were too nice. We just really both liked each other…[but] most relationships work out cause you get along and then you don't, and then you make up and it's passionate, and with us, I really just liked her as a friend. That’s the only reason that didn't work out." So, their relationship didn't end on a bad note, which is good.
8 Taylor Lautner (August- October 2009)
Taylor and Taylor, it doesn't get much cuter than that does it? Taylor and Taylor were exclusive while filming the movie Valentine's Day. Taylor Swift wrote her song “Back to December” about Taylor Lautner, and when Taylor Lautner was asked to give his opinion about the song back in 2016, he embarked on the reality that Taylor Swift is that artist who writes love songs about her relationships.

7 John Mayer (November 2009- February 2010)
Taylor Swift's relationship with John Mayer only lasted a few months...COME ON TAYLOR! But, who could forget this love story? Their breakup was kind of a disaster due to John's unfavorable reaction to Taylor writing the song "Dear John." If you know Taylor then you know she will write a song about you if the relationship ends on a bad note. So should John Mayer have really been that surprised?
John Mayer commented harshly in an interview with Rolling Stone stating that “I will say as a songwriter that I think it’s kind of cheap songwriting. I know she’s the biggest thing in the world, and I’m not trying to sink anybody’s ship, but I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait till he gets a load of this!’ That’s bullshit.”
6 Jake Gyllenhall (October 2010- December 2010)
Another relationship in the books for Taylor that was only about 4 months. Apparently Jake broke up with Taylor by telling her that it just wasn't working out. As any girl would react, Taylor, of course, was heartbroken.
Taylor wasn't sure what she did wrong for Jake to want to break up. She essentially felt burned by Jake. So, what does Taylor do best to channel her energy after a breakup, write music? Some songs from her Red album were supposedly influenced by Jake. But unlike John Mayer, Jake was not bothered by it.
5 Connor Kennedy (July 2012- October 2012)
The good news about this relationship is that it didn't end in a mess. The breakup was amicable. Fans in the past probably wondering why Taylor's relationships weren't working and only last about 4 months? There's not really a one size fits all answer. Maybe just maybe she didn't find her true love.

4 Harry Styles (November 2012-January 2013)
Taylor and Harry Styles's relationship lasted a short three months. When rumors began spreading about Harry and Taylor's relationship it was ignited by the fact that Taylor was seen wearing Harry's silver airplane necklace.
That same necklace is the one she also wore in the music video that tells the tale of her and Harry's breakup, with the song "Out of the Woods." Taylor obviously had a talent for writing breakup songs but it is unfortunate that she had to experience so many breakups. Breakups are not fun but they are something many people experience.
3 Calvin Harris (March 2015-June 2016)
Taylor and Calvin Harris's relationship lasted 16 months. Finally, a relationship longer than 4 months (yay Taylor!) Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris got acquainted at the Elle Style Awards show back in February of 2015. They celebrated their 1 year anniversary on March 6th, 2017.
But sadly, just two months after their 1 year anniversary, Calvin broke up with Taylor. The breakup was messy and controversial and Calvin accused Taylor of cheating on him based on some song lyrics Taylor wrote that were seen as suspicious.
2 Tom Hiddleston (June 2016- September 2016)
This relationship was viewed as bizarre. The two danced the night away at the Met Gala, where their love story began. Pictures were taken of Tom and Taylor where they were kissing and people were questioning whether the photos were stagged.
After this Tom even met Taylor's parents. The two were also spotted at Selena Gomez concert together. But then in September of 2016 that is when their relationship went downhill. Taylor came to the conclusion that Tom was with her for the wrong reasons.
1 Joe Alwyn (May 2017- Present)
Last but certainly not least on this list is Joe Alwyn. The man that Taylor Swift has been dating since May of 2017 and is still with. Taylor Swift fans are convinced that Taylor’s song “Dress” indicated that they had a moment based on these lyrics: “Flashback to when you met me / Your buzz cut / And my hair bleached.”
In December of 2017, the two were spotted at an Ed Sheeran concert together. Joe and Taylor are still going strong and it goes to show that true love can be found and that it just takes time to find that special someone.
