Star Struck: 20 Celebs Who Actually Married Their Fans

When it comes to marriages over in Hollywood, it is a well-known fact that most are short-lived either due to clashing egos, the distance due to travelling for work constantly or because one of the members wasn’t faithful at one point.

There are some celebrities who decide to look for love outside their “workplace,” and what better place to look than in their fanbase? These people are devoted, they already know a lot about their famous partners and they're already in love with them.

Here are 20 celebrities who fell in love with their fans, be it with a regular person who had no ties to the celebrity world, or someone who was already a celebrity themselves. Yes, famous people are fans, too!

Fergie first caught Josh’s eye when a fellow actor showed him a music video with her dancing. Josh then told producers of the show he was on at the time that they should book the Black Eyes Pease for a performance on a future episode, which they did, and boy did Josh lay it on thick. He said two words when he met Fergie, “You’re Hot.”

The pair married in 2009 and were together for eight years. They even have a son together.

According to Nicki Swift, it all happened in 1994 when Patrick booked a hair appointment at a LA hair salon, which was where Jillian was working as a stylist at the time. Jillian told People that a co-worker used to write down celebrity’s names in the appointment book all the time, but it was always just a funny joke. She was completely shocked when the real Patrick Dempsey walked in!

"But at the same time," she said, "I was happy because he was so cute."

Three years later, the two finally decided to make it official. The pair wed in 1999 and have had three children together.
