During Priyanka Chopra’s bachelorette party in Amsterdam the weekend of November 3rd, fans on social media caught glimpses into the bride-to-be’s budding friendship with Sophie Turner—and it’s absolutely adorable. The fiancées of brothers Nick and Joe Jonas celebrated Chopra’s upcoming wedding by eating, drinking, and boat-riding their way through the city, along with some other gal pals. Somewhere in their journey, Turner and Chopra even coined a name for friendship: “The J Sisters.”
The soon-to-be sisters-in-law have been spotted on double dates with the Jonas brothers in recent months. The couples were photographed enjoying a fancy dinner together in London, as well as attending the US Open tennis tournament in September. However, Chopra’s bachelorette party was the first big public outing the girls have been on together without their partners.
Chopra posted several photos from the fun-filled weekend on her Instagram, and many of them were captioned with #TheJSisters (a play on the JoBros’ former band, The Jonas Brothers). The collection photos on the bachelorette’s feed and Stories showed her and her gal squad sailing on an Amsterdam river, drinking at the Havana club, and galivanting through the streets. Chopra’s friends’ outfits were coordinated in a red and black theme, while Chopra herself wore white, because, of course. She also wore a black sash with “Bride-to-Be” written in gold.
One of the cutest social media captures of the night was an Instagram Stories video of Chopra carrying Turner piggyback-style because of a #HighHeelFail. In the clip, Chopra said, “Ugh, this is what you have to do for sisters-in-law these days!” She also added the signature #TheJSisters caption.
While Turner hasn’t posted any shots from the weekend on her Instagram feed yet, she did upload a photo to her Story of Chopra standing on the hotel steps in her elegant, body-hugging white bachelorette dress with a white, floor-length feathered robe. “Bride goals,” Turner captioned the post.
After all of the festivities, the “J Sisters” appeared in one more photo on Chopra’s Instagram. The two sat snuggled on a couch with green “Hungover” eye masks and pink flasks. “The morning after… #TheJSisters #Bachelorette,” the caption read. Partied too hard, ladies?
