Twenty-four-year-old Cherry Seaborn stepped out recently in London looking very professional. She was sporting a black sweater with a white collared shirt underneath and black slacks. Her expression may not have been the cheeriest, but we're going to chalk that up to the photographers catching her in an off moment because Seaborn has plenty to smile about lately. Just weeks ago, Ed Sheeran announced his engagement to the long-haired beauty on Instagram.
The couple has been together for about two years. Despite just recently announcing their plans for marriage, actor (and friend to the couple) Russell Crowe, may have spilled the beans about the engagement being nothing new. On an Australian radio show interview around eight months ago, Crowe referred to Seaborn as "Ed's fiancée" to hosts, Fitzy and Wippa. So, was that just an honest mistake or a tell-tale sign that these two have been planning to tie the knot for a while?
Either way, the couple seem very happy and in love. The pair met at Thomas Mills High School in Framlington, Suffolk when they were just teenagers. Sheeran confessed that while he always had a crush on Seaborn, the pair didn't start dating until 2015. They reconnected when Sheeran decided to take a year-long break from scheduling, singing, and social media in order to travel. Seaborn accepted an invitation to join him. Honestly, can you imagine turning down an opportunity like that?
Now, Sheeran is back at work and Seaborn is flashing the massive rock that he placed on her finger. What do you think about this supersized stunner? While the pair is busy making wedding plans, Seaborn has decided to relocate her finance job from New York to London. She wants to be close to her famous fiancée when he returns home from touring.
"I'm actually the happiest I've ever been and it's because I had a year to spend with someone," Sheeran revealed in a radio interview with BBC prior to announcing his engagement. "I've always started relationships then gone off on tour. I spent every day for a year with this certain person, we kind of have a strong relationship now which is good."
