Sephora Will Soon Be Home To Proactiv's Celeb Endorsed Acne Products

Skincare brand Proactiv recently dropped the news that they will soon be available to purchase at Sephora.com. Now, this is great news for anyone who likes to do their shopping via the massive beauty retailer, and definitely a good move for Proactiv, who has based their brand on a direct-to-consumer strategy. Proactiv is a great skin care brand with over two decades in the industry, and their product range is specialised for acne prone skin.

Proactiv has become quite the household name, and very much so due to their many celebrity endorsements. Most people will remember a particular celebrity claiming that Proactiv was what helped them get rid of spots and breakouts, making teenagers all over the world want to order exactly that. From Jessica Simpson in the late nineties to Lindsay Lohan, John Mayer and Justin Bieber, while in their teens or early twenties many celebrities lent their face to Proactiv and became a sort of brand spokesperson. They would appear in tailor-made commercials on TV, talking about their favorite Proactiv products, and viewers could dial in and order. This was basically how it worked before social media; today a celebrity endorsement could simply mean a couple of paid posts on Instagram.

As reported by Allure, the products offered on Sephora.com includes the Proactiv Solution 3-Step System, one of the brand's most famous products that consist of a cleanser, a toner, and an acne treatment with benzoyl peroxide. In addition, consumers will also find the brand's over-the-counter retinoid called ProactivMD Adapalene Gel, as well as a new special kit called the ProactivMD 3-Piece System which includes a cleanser, the adapalene gel, and an oil-control moisturizer.

The Proactiv Solution 3-Step System retails for $80.00 and the ProactivMD Adapalene Gel, which is an acne treatment, retails for $18.00.

While Proactiv's products will not be available before Christmas and therefore perhaps not suitable for a Christmas present, they might be the perfect first purchase to make in the new year. Investing in a great skin care series is an excellent way to create new routines of taking care of the skin in the new year.
