Rihanna Celebrated Fenty Beauty's Birthday In Pink

Rihanna needs no introduction, and neither does her cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty, which celebrated its one year anniversary this weekend. The party was held in Brooklyn, New York, and the singer made a surprise appearance to take the celebration to an even higher level. Dressed in a gorgeous, hot pink Calvin Klein gown with ruffles, and with shoes, nails, and lipstick of similarly hot pink shades, Rihanna definitely made an entrance. She kept her hair down in a simple wavy style and, as always, managed to look like a million bucks.

Fenty Beauty's one-year birthday party was celebrated at Sephora inside J.C. Penney at King's Plaza, and for the hardcore fans, or 'The Rihanna Navy' as they officially call themselves, the pop star's appearance was not a complete surprise. In the car on her way to the event, Rihanna posted on Snapchat teasing where she was heading and finally revealed she was pulling up at the shopping center.

As reported by Elle, Rihanna has had a hectic week, closing down New York Fashion Week with her unforgettable Savage x Fenty show. The event was packed with celebrities, and as opposed to many other runway shows, Savage x Fenty made a point of being inclusive.

When it comes to inclusiveness, Rihanna has been at the forefront for a while. First with her Fenty Beauty makeup products, where she aimed to offer a complete range of colors and shades in the foundations and concealers, but now also with her fashion show. One of the models to walk for Savage x Fenty was pregnant Slick Woods, who confirmed that she had already gone into labor while walking the show. Yikes! It's safe to say that Tyra would have been mighty proud of that attitude!

Rihanna has worked hard to create a brand that is inclusive to people of all skin tones, and she has definitely set a new standard on the beauty market with her massive range of foundations. Many other makeup brands are taking after, adding more and more variety in the shades of their products, which is about time! Is there anything this woman can't do?
