September is a huge month for fashion. Not only do cute scarves, coats, boots and pumpkin spice lattes come into play, but so does Fashion Week. New York Fashion Week is one of the most highly attended fashion weeks across the globe, and this year, it will be lucky enough to be graced by the Fenty queen herself, Rihanna.
According to Cosmo, Rihanna is closing out NYFW with a "Savage x Fenty Show". If you aren’t familiar with Rihanna and her work lately, do not worry, because we have all of the details. The singer has been killing the game recently with collections from her Fenty lines, both cosmetic and lingerie.
The "Diamonds" singer has notably collaborated in the past with Puma, but the star is taking things on by herself this time around as she debuts her Fenty lingerie line at this year's NYFW. Rihanna has partnered up with the brand Savage this year and is bringing her collection of lingerie to the runways of New York City.
According to RiRi, the presentation is set to be an “immersive experience”, and will take place in Brooklyn at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018. Rihanna will be following the iconic Marc Jacobs, who will be featured at 6:00 PM. If there is one way to close NYFW, we would definitely say that Rihanna's lingerie line will be a hit.
As mentioned, RiRi has collaborated with Savage, and her clothing will be readily available immediately after the show on SavageX.com. Not only will her show be a see-now, buy-now situation, but also various pop-up shops will appear across the United States this upcoming fall.
Rihanna first debuted her collection in May of 2018, and the Savage x Fenty website was receiving such high demands of the line that it crashed several times. The Fenty collection features everything you need to feel your best in your own skin from bras, underwear, furry robes and so much more.
