Happy New Year! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in good spirits as they were photographed for the first time in 2018 on Kate Middleton's birthday, January 9th. The couple visited the Reprezent radio station in the Brixton district of South London. The radio station is dedicated to teaching children and teenagers media and broadcasting skills, hoping to lower the statistics on youth-committed violence by giving young people an opportunity to learn a valuable skillset and encourage a passion in music.

The couple looked picture perfect and appropriately dressed for the cold weather in their long warm coats as they met the staff and took time to sit down and chat with the youth who were no doubt much more excited about meeting Prince Harry and his up and coming Princess-in-the-making than they were about broadcasting.

Markle, who is three years older than the red-headed, former-party-boy prince, met him on a blind date, matched by a mutual friend of theirs. While Markle had certainly heard of Prince Harry before, he had never heard of her despite the popularity of the show that brought her to fame, Suits.

"I'd never watched Suits, I'd never heard of Meghan before, and I was beautifully surprised when I walked into that room and saw her," Harry said of their first date. "I was like, 'Wow, OK. I'm going to have to up my game here. I'm going to sit down and make sure I got a good chat. The fact that I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly was a confirmation to me that all the stars were aligned and everything was just perfect. I know the fact that she will be really unbelievably good at the job part of it as well is honestly a huge relief to me because she will be able to deal with everything that comes with it. We are a fantastic team, we know that we are, and we want to, over time, have as much impact for all of the things that we care about as much as possible."

The couple is due to marry on May 19th at Saint George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, and are expected to live at Kensington Palace afterwards. Sources say that the couple is likely to be given a much larger estate a few years down the line as Prince Harry's brother and sister-in-law were. Even though the royal wedding is just around the corner, it seems as though the couple is just enjoying their engagement for now and basking in their love.
