Something is off with Prince Harry lately. The royal dad-to-be is not his usual cheerful self, but reportedly is “really grumpy”, palace stuff have recently revealed. The same unnamed palace sources also claim that “something has changed, and no one can quite put their finger on it. He looks cross with the world."

Truth be told, we can’t blame Harry. The press has been giving him and wife Meghan the hot-and-cold treatment for a while. For every piece published in the press praising the loved-up couple, another piece pops up that takes an indirect swipe at the Duchess of Sussex. By divulging details of Meghan’s tense relationship with half-sister Samantha and estranged dad Thomas Markle, or simply sleuthing for unsavory details of her past, it has been a roller coaster ride for the newlyweds.

Most recently there have been even crazier claims of leaked e-mails revealing that the former actress prepared 200 “marijuana gift bags” for her guests during her wedding to Trevor Engelson.

And let’s not forget the famous feud story between the royal couples which refuses to leave our news feeds for weeks. What was initially described as a rift between the two duchesses has now evolved to rumors of a full-blown feud between the two brothers as well. (Some have gone so far to see tense body language between William and Meghan!)

It has been hinted that Harry is growing increasingly frustrated playing second fiddle to William. The exact words used are “heir and spare”. (Ouch!) To be more specific, part of the problem, according to sources, is that Harry, unlike William “doesn’t have his own structure” and that his role as a royal is not as clear-cut and defined.

And all this is just a fraction of the stories surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan at the moment. No wonder Harry is feeling grumpy and cross with the world.

However, there’s no reason to panic just yet. The two brothers have always found a way to patch things up and we ‘re certain they’ll do the same this time. With Harry and Meghan moving out of Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage to welcome their first baby, we doubt there will be any time for rivalries between the two families.
