Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are finally on Instagram with their very own account under the name @sussexroyal, and the loving couple is already using it to communicate with their many fans. This new Instagram account also means that Prince Harry and Meghan are separating themselves from Prince William and Kate. Up until now, the four of them shared the same official Instagram account @kensingtonroyal, but since Prince Harry and Meghan have now officially moved out from Kensington Palace, it only makes sense that the two households from now on also have separate Instagram accounts.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just made the move to Frogmore Cottage which will be their new official home. The estate has been undergoing a lot of renovation but should now be ready to welcome Prince Harry, Meghan and their first baby who reportedly is due later this month. Their new Instagram account went up on Tuesday, and both Prince William and Kate, and Princess Eugenie, who is a cousin of the princes', shared posts welcoming the parents to be to Instagram. The Queen is also active on the social media platform on the account @theroyalfamily, and the monarch wrote her first post in February this year, signing it 'Elizabeth R.'. Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, and Kensington Palace have all published official guidelines on how people can interact with the royal family via their social media channels.
As reported by E! News, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex used their new royal Instagram account to thank everyone involved in the initiative #globalsussexbabyshower, where fans of the royal couple donated to different charitable organizations in honor of the royal baby. Prince Harry and Meghan thanked those who already donated, and gave some suggestions on organizations to which people could donate.

What an incredibly special surprise the grassroots led #globalsussexbabyshower was last Sunday! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are immensely grateful for the outpouring of love and support in anticipation of the birth of their first child. In lieu of sending gifts, the couple have long planned to encourage members of the public to make donations to select charities for children and parents in need. If you already made a donation, the couple send you their greatest thanks. If you are thinking about it, they ask that you kindly consider the following organisations they’ve selected, which we will highlight here over the next few days: @thelunchboxfund @littlevillagehq @wellchild @baby2baby The Duke and Duchess remain appreciative for your warm wishes and kindness during this especially happy time in their lives! Thank you for sharing the love ❤️
Apart from these generous donations from their fans, Prince Harry and Meghan have also received tons of presents from people all over the world during their travels last year. From soft toys and rattles to blankets and bibs, the nursery in Frogmore Cottage should be filled to the bring with necessities for the royal baby's arrival.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry must be so excited for their first baby to arrive, and they are certainly being showered with love and well wishes from their fans from all over the world.
