British makeup brand Pat McGrath Labs is launching a new eyeshadow palette, and we couldn't be more excited.
Although we don't know much about the palette and what it will look like yet, the teasers dropped on the former makeup artist's Instagram page are definitely leaving all beauty junkies on the edge of their seats. The informal announcements came this past Thursday, and since the celebrity-favorite brand is known for keeping their releases secret until the very last moment, any hints are highly anticipated in the beauty world.
Pat McGrath Labs posted two photos on their Instagram page. One showed red lightning over a lake, with the caption "#comingsoon..." and three lightning emojis. Their second teaser showed a '70s space helmet with a reflection of a sunset in the visor with the caption also reading "Coming soon". Not a lot of insight there, but perhaps it can give an idea of the color scheme of the eyeshadow palette.
Allure reported that popular beauty news account on Instagram, @trendmood1, also shared some intel to Pat McGrath Labs' new eyeshadow palette. Although still vague, their image might give even more detail about the colors and shades of the palette. The photo shows a lot of pinks and red shades, leading fans to believe that the palette will stay within a blush and bronze color scheme. Some compared it to a promo for American Horror Story, while others believe it may be inspired by this year's Met Ball theme, "Heavenly Bodies".

Pat McGrath Labs was founded by legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath in 2015, and since being valued at $1 billion this year, the brand has definitely become a significant player in the makeup industry. As a comparison, Kylie Cosmetics is valued at $800 million.
When it comes to what colors and shades the eyeshadow palette will hold, it's really all speculation at the moment, but sometimes that's part of the fun! Beauty gurus and makeup lovers all over the world will be waiting in anticipation to see what the final release will look like, and that is probably just what Pat McGrath Labs wants.
