Ouai Is Dropping A Shampoo Specifically For... Pets

Celebrity favorite haircare brand Ouai is launching a new shampoo, and its targeted customers might come as a surprise. The latest addition to the famous haircare brand is a shampoo for pets, simply called "Pet Shampoo", and it has been announced to launch sometime in mid-July. This will be the brand's first ever product that is not aimed at humans, but our four-legged friends, and we can totally imagine more than one celebrity dog lover will jump on the opportunity to get their mutts the best of the best.

The launch is not going to go unnoticed as Ouai has created probably the cutest campaign of the year, full of adorable dogs, cats, and even a little pig. And we cannot wait for the press kits to be sent out to all of Ouai's founder Jen Atkin's celebrity friends and their little angels. Besides being a long time member of the Kardashian Krew, Atkins is also BFFs with celebrities like Chrissy Teigen, and Gigi and Bella Hadid.

Fashionista reports that the "Pet Shampoo" will retail at US $28, which might seem a bit hefty for a shampoo for a dog. However, the shampoo is packed with natural ingredients such as aloe vera, apple cider vinegar, and hibiscus extract - all working to leave your pet shiny, and without any odor or knots.

The price might also look a lot more reasonable because fifteen percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Vanderpump Dog Foundation. This is a foundation started by RHOBH veteran Lisa Vanderpump, and they work with dog rescue, adoption, and education. So you'd be pampering your own little pup and have him or her smelling of Italian lemon, lily and white musk, all while at the same time being part of helping poor puppers all over the world to live a better life. Cue the tears.

With Instagram full to the brim of so-called "dog-fluencers", we don't see any problem with successfully launching a somewhat pricey shampoo for pets. Any pet owner will agree that you only want the best for your four-legged bestie, and if part of the money will go to a charitable cause, all the better.
