Oprah Winfrey spoke out in support of Meghan Markle and the decisions she has taken since marrying Prince Harry, even if some of them have gone against royal protocol. Oprah is showing the world that she is team Meghan all the way and that she is a true friend of the Duchess and has her back. The former talk show host has previously spoken out against how unfairly media have treated Meghan since she married Prince Harry, and said that if people met her, they would see that she has a warm, giving heart. Opah, who was one of many celebratory guests attending the royal wedding last year, continued saying that Meghan does not read any of the negative stuff that is being said about her, something which Meghan also has mentioned.
Meghan and Prince Harry are expecting their first child any day now, and they have been getting quite a bit of criticism for their decision regarding their new family. The parents-to-be have for instance decided that they will not follow the royal tradition of posing in front of the hospital mear hours after giving birth. Instead, they are going to take a few days to enjoy the addition to their family in private, before arranging for a photo shoot at their home in Frogmore Cottage. Meghan is reportedly not going to give birth at the exclusive Lindo wing at St Mary's Hospital, which both Princess Diana and Kate Middleton have done. Instead, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are rumored to be considering either a homebirth or the nearby Frimley Park Hospital.
As reported by ET Online, Oprah says she is so proud of Meghan and her decisions revolving her baby and her family. The TV personality commends Meghan for standing up for what she wants for her baby, even though it goes against the royal tradition.
Oprah went on calling the Duchess of Sussex bold for following what she and Prince Harry believe to be the best thing for their family, and how they want to raise their baby. She also said that, in her opinion, how Meghan and Prince Harry raise their child is no one else's business, and it is safe to say she has a point.
Breaking royal protocol or not, the world is anxiously awaiting the birth of Meghan and Prince Harry's first baby, and most definitely, so har the expecting parents.
