October 3rd Has Come And Gone, But Spectrum Collections Is Still Celebrating With A 'Mean Girls' Mega-Sale

Spectrum Collections is having a hard time letting go of October 3. The brand, which features a Spectrum x Mean Girls collection, has decided to make October Mean Girls month by hosting a mega sale of the beloved film’s merchandise.

Spectrum Collections, self-described experts in “bold, beautiful makeup brushes and accessories,” is a Welsh company founded by sisters Hannah and Sophie Pycroft in their garage in Barry Island. The enterprising duo began their business without loans or financing four years ago. The company is now worth an estimated £12 million pounds.

The brand, which has nearly 300k followers on Instagram, been described as making “the world's most Instagramable makeup brushes.” The sisters first had the idea to start the company while on vacation in Gran Canaria, Spain. Sophie, a former freelance photographer, and Hannah, a former videographer, spent a year researching the concept and held a launch party in London once their idea finally took shape.

Specialized in pop culture-inspired collections, like their Disney Little Mermaid and Minnie makeup brush line, Spectrum Collections is known for its exceptional quality and beautiful designs. The Mean Girls collection, which has been a huge hit, features all your favorites, such as a full-size Burn Book to store your brushes, a pink Really Pretty Vanity Case, and a selection of false lashes named after the Plastics.

The 10-piece brush set with the Burn Book has been marked down to £59.99 from £79.99, while the Plastics Lash Bundle has been marked down to £17.49 from £24.99. The individual vegan silk lash sets, named after Gretchen, Regina, and Karen, are now £6.99 and the I'm a Mouse Duh! makeup bag has been marked down to £12.50 from £24.99.

The brand is a favorite of makeup lovers, having attracted the attention of professional make-up artists and celebrities, including Lottie Tomlinson, beauty blogger, and sister of One Direction's Louis. The brand prides itself on being a cruelty-free brand and registered with the Vegan Society and PETA.
