All we seem to hear about today in the world of celebrity baby news is the impending arrival of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s fourth child. There always seems to be a Kardashian pregnant, given how large their family is. And frankly, it takes the spotlight away from our other favourite stars who are expanding their families.
Since Kimye’s baby is practically the only one making headlines this year, we bet a lot of fans have missed these famous pregnancy announcements. While some of these celebrity pregnancies definitely didn’t take us by surprise (many stars aren’t afraid to joke about how much they enjoy “practicing”), there were some that we totally didn’t see coming. Whether these pregnancies were planned or not, it’s needless to say that fans are thrilled for the expectant celebrities. And, if you ask us, we’re even more curious to know what these famous folks will name their new additions. Given how wild the Kardashians go with their baby names, we’re really expecting anything.
Keep reading to see which celebrity pregnancies are the most highly-anticipated of 2019 (aside from Kim and Kanye’s impending addition). If one thing is for sure, this year is definitely the year of famous pregnancies.

“I think the one thing we learned very quickly is that if you make a plan and you really want to stick to it, it can become frustrating,” Lauren said about parenting, Pure Wow reports. “So you want to be flexible with your child […] because every child is different and you don’t know what your challenges are going to be.”

"I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule,” she wrote online after cancelling several tour stops. “I am in the hospital. I'm fine. Baby's fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I've been even iller this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some [difficult stuff]!”

Krysten’s baby news came days after Netflix announced it was ending Jessica Jones after its third season, leading many to wonder if her pregnancy was the reason why. “We have decided that the upcoming third season will also be the final season for Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” Netflix said in a statement. “We are grateful to showrunner Melissa Rosenberg, star Krysten Ritter, and the entire cast and crew, for three incredible seasons of this ground-breaking series.”

The notoriously private couple usually remain mum on their personal life, so neither of them have confirmed or denied the rumors. But when Sophie stepped out with a visible baby bump on the red carpet last year, the answer seemed pretty obvious.
“I’m always in a rush to get back [home]. It’s everything. I have a new life form that needs his father’s help in the world and his mother needs a little help once in a while,” Benedict has said about parenthood, as Huffington Post reports.
