Netflix’s “GLOW” Set To End In Its Upcoming Fourth Season

Fans of Netflix's original TV series GLOW- which is based on the true story of how Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling were founded and became popular throughout the 1980s'- have loved it three seasons now. Ever since it debuted back in June of 2017, fans have taken a liking to the predominately female cast, the 80s' vibe, and the wrestling aspect that's prevalent throughout.

With all things considered, it's easy to see why and how GLOW has the number of fans it has. It's also unsurprising that the show was recently renewed for a fourth season. But unfortunately for those who love the Netflix original show dearly, the upcoming fourth season will be the last season.

When it was announced by Netflix that GLOW had been renewed for its fourth and final season, long-time cast members such as Alison Brie and Marc Maron were elated. Brie went so far as to take to her Instagram to share the news, as well as her feelings on the matter.

"Excited to announce that GLOW will be back for a fourth and final season! I wish I never had to say goodbye to these characters, but I am so grateful to get one more round with our incredible team. You better believe we’re GLOWing out with a bang!" Brie wrote in the touching post's caption.

Long-time fans of the show may recall how GLOW struggled to last longer than its first season. Reports came out shortly after the release of season one that Netflix wanted to cancel the show due to low ratings. This was despite its immense critical success and even an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. But thanks to the continued backing from the show's creative talent, Netflix changed their minds and renewed GLOW for a second season. We're sure that fans are super happy that this wrestling-based was renewed- and has managed to last for as long as it has!

While many fans will be sad to see GLOW ending in its fourth season, we're sure that'll keep them hooked for the whole thing. Here's hoping that the series finale doesn't disappoint!
