NARS Cosmetics released their 2018 Uncensored Advent Calendar on October 3rd, and its packed with everyone’s favorite products from this iconic brand.
The original concept of the Advent calendar started back in the 1800s as a fun way of counting down the days until December until Christmas. The calendar is set up with tiny boxes that are opened one day at a time until Christmas arrives, and they usually contain small surprises like tasty chocolates or other treats.
Nowadays, you can find an Advent calendar containing pretty much anything, from jewelry to fragrances to mini beauty products. The concept of beauty advent calendars has really caught on, and countless brands release their own unique versions every year. The NARS Uncensored Advent Calendar is inspired by 1970s punk fashion and makeup trends, and like everything with the NARS stamp of approval, it’s full of the perfect products to create a bold look. These holiday shades are the ideal choice for dramatic New Year’s Eve looks.
Even the packaging stands out: this “Advent calendar” is actually a shiny, red tower lined with small boxes along the sides. The Uncensored Advent Calendar is a limited edition product that retails for $150—the price may be steep, but it’s a great value for all of the products included.
