The world is still reeling from the wedding of the year - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal nuptials. After all, it's not often we get to witness a royal getting hitched to a TV star, and it was quite the extravagant affair. Just like everything of media significance in the world, it's inspired all sorts of strange merchandise, from tea towels to water bottles. Now, they royal couple has been turned into nail art, and it is anything but ordinary.

We love a nicely done nail, but we'd settle for a glossy pink or a plain nude over these truly creepy creations. It's not that it's the strangest nail art we've seen, but it definitely takes the crown for the most unsettling. Instagram account Nail Sunny has always led the way in terms of crazy nail trends, producing molar nail art and even Kylie Jenner and Stormi inspired talons. But this time they've generated powder blue nails complete with Harry and Meghan accents. Meghan's dress has even been recreated in impressive detail. The bodies have been made out of acrylics and gels, with the details like the lace veil added on for an extra touch.

Of course, sculpting nails as complicated as this requires more skill than most of us have, but there's no doubting that the characters look nothing like the IRL Meg and Harry. For one thing, Meghan's highlight isn't blended and her eyebrows look a little cray cray, while Harry looks like he may be in some serious pain in his neck. The look definitely struck the right chord on Instagram though, gaining over 175,000 likes to date, and a plethora of comments - although not all of them are exactly complimentary.

Love them or hate them, one thing is for sure - no one is over the royal wedding yet, and we don't think that anyone will be for a long time. Or, at least until we're graced with some royal baby news to take the heat off.
