Fans of country singer Miranda Lambert and her fellow country singer beau, Anderson East had their suspicions confirmed over the weekend that the pair of crooners were calling it quits with their relationship. Followers of their social media accounts began to wonder if there was trouble in paradise between the couple when they hadn't seen East in anything on Lambert's social media profiles and vice versa. Previously, the pair had been very active all across social media, posting sweet photos of themselves and supportive comments to each other.
The first suspicions arose among fans when they noticed that East had not been active on any of Lambert's social media profiles since a birthday message he left for her back in November. In turn, Lambert seemed to cool off on posting images of the pair in January.
Neither Lambert nor East has commented on the reasons behind their break up, but Lambert had commented to fans about her personal life during a concert in Tennessee in early March.
"I make it my mission every single time I step on the stage that no matter what," Lambert stated and continued, "No matter where I am, I want to make you feel everything you could possibly feel. I want you to feel sad, mad, happy and nostalgic and really pissed sometimes. That's my favorite."
It would seem that Lambert was working through and processing some emotions at the time, though she didn't directly state that her relationship with East was in turmoil.
Before the break up, Lambert who was previously married to Blake Shelton, had publicly called herself a "lucky girl" for having East by her side. He had made the following statement about her, "There's a true admiration there and a large level of understanding on both sides, for sure. It's always difficult to be a traveling musician and still keep things together. Understanding is definitely a huge factor."
Perhaps their relationship was more difficult than either Lambert or East realized. One thing that the former couple still has in common will be being on the road at the same time - just not together. Lambert is slated to tour with Little Big Town and East is also on the road promoting his new album.
