Miley Cyrus seems intent on making waves again as she deals with her divorce from Liam Hemsworth. After facing backlash from the LGBTQ community for essentially saying that the poor selection of straight men forced her to be with women, the singer has been posting videos and images on social media with her new flame, Cody Simpson, that have fans doing a double-take.

As far as her divorce goes, Cyrus, who reportedly had a prenup agreement, is not battling with Hemsworth, yet her comments about crappy men seem to imply that he wasn’t the best husband. In an Instagram Live video with Simpson on Sunday, Cyrus, who has been dating the Australian singer for less than a month, said, "There are good men out there, guys. Don't give up. You don't have to be gay.”

The “Wrecking Ball” singer, who had a fling with Kaitlynn Carter, the ex-wife of reality star Brody Jenner, after her split from Hemsworth, added, "I always thought I had to be gay because I just thought, like, all guys were evil, but it's not true. There are good people out there. I've only ever met one."

Cyrus, 26, followed up her post with new pics yesterday in which she poses in a bathroom in denim shorts and a white crop top with her hair in a ponytail. The photos, which show the singer clearly not wearing a bra, seem to revert back to her younger days when she was fond of leaving little to the imagination. In another pic, she appears under a tree with her silver guitar.

“I’m getting more basic by the day,” Cyrus wrote in the caption. “The only thing the ‘new me’ loves more than a mirror selfie is a self-timed one.”

Cyrus and Simpson, 22, have also gotten new tattoos together, hers is a dagger through a bleeding heart, while his chest ink features a skull and crossbones line. She has also posted pics wearing a signet ring with Simpson’s initials. “New. Life. Who. Dis,” Cyrus captioned the photo.

“I’m very happy. We are very, very happy,” Simpson told reporters at the Tiffany & Co. Men's launch in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago. “She’s creative. She’s very passionate about what she does, and I’m very similar in that sense. That’s why we get along so well.”

Although their romantic relationship is new, their friendship is not. In 2015, Simpson, who previously dated Gigi Hadid, told GQ Australia in an interview, “Miley is one of my best friends and she helps with some of that transitional stuff — trying to escape your childhood. She’s super open-minded and I’m working on becoming more like that.”

All in all, if you thought Cyrus was moving on and maturing following her marriage to Hemsworth, think again. She’s apparently not ready to let go of her youth or her wild side just yet.
