As the new Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has also unwittingly taken on another role as a new style icon of the royal family. While Markle has always been extremely chic prior to marrying her husband- Harry, Duke of Sussex- her profile has increased dramatically because of her royal status. She can make anything look fantastic- even something as basic as a pair of sneakers.
According to Women's Health, Markle was out boating with Harry in Sydney, Australia the weekend before, wearing yet another gorgeous ensemble. But the biggest standout piece was her white lace-up sneakers from Veja. While many who argue against wearing white after Labour Day, Markle clearly didn't mind breaking that fashion rule. Adding to the fact that this is her first royal appearance in athletic wear, she seems to creating her own fashion statements with little regard to what others may think.
The sneakers in question come from the French shoe brand Veja. These white-and-black pair- called the V10- debuted back in the company's 2016 spring/summer collection to celebrate what was their 10 year anniversary at the time. Despite coming out almost three years ago, they're still as popular as ever before. With Markle wearing them now, there's no doubt that their popularity will only skyrocket dramatically as a result.
Made in Brazil, the V10s are crafted with black and white leather; save for the logo and soles, which are made out of rubber. The lining is made out of cotton, making these shoes breathable and comfy to wear for hours on end. The V10s overall look and design make them a great option for anyone who's looking for sneakers that will be comfortable for most anything- from running errands to exploring a new city or country, and everything in between. Yet they're still going to keep you stylish while you wear them. Paired with a casual outfit such as jeans and a plain T-shirt will make you look effortlessly chic for the day.
