Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just announced that there is a new royal baby on the way, but the Duchess of Sussex has had to come up with a bunch of strategic style choices to hide her baby bump before sharing the good news with the world. Tabloids and royalists all over the world have probably been on 'bump watch' since Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding earlier this year, and finally, the good news has come.

For royalties and any other celebrity, there is a lot of work that goes into hiding the baby bump and try to control when to share the news with the world. Some choose the more drastic solution of going into complete hiding, yes Kylie Jenner, we're looking at you, while others, like Meghan, have no other choice than to continue with her duties. One of her last appearances before announcing her pregnancy was at Princess Eugenie's wedding, where Meghan wore a navy blue dress with a matching coat. Coats and blazers are perfect garments to wear to cover one's silhouette and a growing baby bump, something Meghan knows all too well.

As reported by Cosmopolitan, another of Meghan's go-to looks for bump coverage was wearing peplum tops. This style is known by most women to be an excellent option also to cover bloating and food babies, so it is obviously also a perfect choice to cover a baby bump.

When it comes to fashion looks, there are several other great ideas to distort attention away from the midsection; such as tops and dresses with ruffles, and pleated skirts. A folder, a clutch, a jacket, all great items for hiding an early pregnancy.
