Kanye West has been a #hubby to Kim since 2014. Despite being one of the most mismatched couples in Hollywood, these two have been proving the world wrong since they started dating in 2012. Baby #4 is on the way, KimYe is now a word and the man is all over her IG.

"Imported Versace towels" and carpets that "aren't too bumpy." When The Daily Mail and GQ covered Kanye's bizarre demands, the world learned that "99 Problems" is something Kanye is pretty particular on. Requesting luxuries in a hotel suite is one thing. Requesting a bizarre set of behaviours from a wife is entirely different.

Confident. Outspoken. Self-obsessed. Whatever it is people think of Kim, the word pushover isn't one of them. The minute TMZ leaked Kim's surrogacy details, we saw her on KUWTK. She grabbed that phone, called the lawyers and muscled up.

KKW Beauty is a veritable empire. KUWTK basically wouldn't exist without Kim. Where this woman goes, though, so does her husband. In particular, his mentality.

Her wardrobe has changed. Her hashtags have changed. The former party girl whose days were spent emptying Louis Vuitton with Paris Hilton is now a grounded mother, a headstrong businesswoman and (it would appear) an abiding wife. Time for a deeper look. Here are 20 things Kim does for her hubby.

20 A Big Family: He's Stuck On, Like, Seven

2019 brought us fresh baby news from Kim and Kanye. "Well into the pregnancy" was E! News's report of KimYe's surrogate– medical complications have left Kim strongly advised against carrying another child herself.

"He wants, like, seven. He's like, stuck on seven." When Kim opened up to BFF Larsa Pippen on KUWTK in 2018, she did go as far as saying that Kanye was "harassing" her. Cosmo covered the footage, but we watched it for ourselves.

Kanye seems to want a large family (and so far, he's winning). Baby #4 is due in May 2019. Kim is 38 years old. It's unlikely that she will want a fifth baby, but it looks like following Kanye's wishes is kind of a thing.

19 Must Look "Mesmerized By His Genius"

Kanye West is no ordinary man. The self-proclaimed "God" and "genius" has straight-up said: "My greatest pain in life is that I'll never be able to see myself perform live"– enough to prompt The Independent to call his attitude "sheer arrogance."

Kim must "never let her gaze leave the stage. She's supposed to look mesmerized by his genius."

As Metro reports, this particularly bizarre request seems to require Kim to act in a fashion that isn't far off worship. The rule supposedly came after Kim was caught texting during one of Kanye's concerts. We just don't know what to make of this one.

18 No Phones During Meals: "I Learned From Him Not To Bring My Phone"

When Kim spoke to Paper, she referenced Kanye a lot, as MTV reports. She said, "We have rules at the table. If we are eating at a restaurant, we'll wait to do it (take pictures) when we are done eating. He's taught me to take a little time for myself."

"Kanye didn't have a phone for four years. I learned from him to not really bring my phone," she added.

At 38 years old, a woman should be able to take her phone wherever she wants. Still, with this couple, it looks like Kanye has the final say. Home footage without Kanye there? That, she might get away with. Nobu family dinners? Less likely.

17 "Kanye Prefers Me Without Makeup"

Dabbling in makeup was the early days. As Kim flies from Dubai to Tokyo for makeup tutorials, it isn't just this woman's face we're buying into. KKW Beauty contour kits are flying off shelves like there's no tomorrow, but don't think Kim walks around the house caked-up.

"My husband loves me without make-up so... I would wear makeup 24/7 if I could, but he likes me without it."

As The Independent reports, Kim's confession also came with a quote straight-up loving makeup: "I love contouring my nose. I know everyone thinks I've had [work done] but I really haven't, it's all down to contouring. I think I'll always contour my nose."

Look at Kim now versus back in the day, and it's like looking at a different person. Utilitarian, matte looks and a #Yeezy seem to sum up 80% of Kim's wardrobe. As Elle put it:

Cosmo quotes Kim admitting that Kanye must have thought her old wardrobe was "cheesy." To be fair, Kim has upped her style game. Don't think that the looks are 100% her own influence, though. There's a man behind them (and his name is Kanye West).

Travis Scott is already ordering room sweeps and emergency escape routes in a "Secret Service" maneuver, Yahoo reports. Being part of the world's most famous family comes with security. For Kim, it's been a particularly tough challenge.

In 2016, Kim made major headlines for being robbed in Paris. It was enough for her to leave social media for months. Kanye has his views on the bodyguards, though. In particular, it would seem, with Kim speaking to them.

As The Daily Mail reports, Kanye "fired" Kim's bodyguard back in 2016. Reportedly "flirting" with Kim was the given reason by the newspaper. Ouch.

Admit it– it's a bit weird. Dropping another $20 million to refurbish your $20 million mansion makes Metro's headlines. A couple of years later, you're back on the front page for hanging out in a parking lot.

"I literally just wear all of the Yeezy samples. They have a team of stylists and they put it all together. I basically get this wardrobe and I don't have to think too much about it,"

Kim told People. Presumably, "not thinking about it" being the sign that Kanye is doing it for her. 2018 marked this iconic Kim and Kylie look, and nobody forgot it.

13 Your Wardrobe Is Yeezy (But Kim Thinks Her Sisters Looked Like "Clowns")

It's snowballing. Every week, a new #YeezyDrop. Early 2018 threw us a triple-whammy of Kardashian Yeezy looks as Kim, Khloe and Kourtney flew to Japan to shoot a Yeezy campaign. It was metallics, spandex, pink hair and a candid admission from Kim.

"So I gotta be real with you guys. You look like [...] clowns." Kim couldn't finish her dinner because she was so "disgusted" by her sisters' outfits.

As E Online reports, Kim didn't have the highest opinion of Kanye's lookbook for her sisters during the Japan trip. Nevertheless, this woman continues to wear her husband's clothing line (like, every day).

12 Laundry Washed "Separately"

Kanye West perfects everything he touches. Whether it's the Yeezy catalog or his beats, nothing in this man's life is a job half done. As it turns out, Kanye is also pretty picky about his laundry.

Journal Post reports that Kanye's laundry must be washed "separately." In a household with three kids and half the family camped out for filming? While we can only imagine what the Kardashian laundry room looks like, that's still one bizarre request.

11 "You Should Be Studying This Book. Like, This Is The Fashion Bible"

You'd need to be living under a rock not to have noticed Kim's giant 180. Google this girl from 10 years ago, and you're looking at a different person. As Hollywood Life reports, Kim credits Kanye quite a bit for this.

"I remember one day, [Kanye] brought me Carine Roitfeld's book and was like, ‘You should be, like, studying this book, this is, like, the fashion bible.’ And I was like, ‘Who is Carine?’ I knew nothing. And he said, ‘Watch, one day she’s going to style you.'"

As the media outlet reports, Carine Roitfeld is a former Vogue editor. The "fashion bible" seems to have been carefully studied.

10 Don't Ever Mention The Exes

Kim's marriage is now so strong, it's like everyone has forgotten that it's her third. To be fair, they were a while ago. Kim was married to a music executive before her second, 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries. Unlikely that they get mentioned, though.

In a bit of rumour circulated by Her Beauty, it's been said that Kim isn't allowed to talk about (or communicate with) her exes. No info from the Kardashians themselves is available on this, but given the rumour, we wouldn't want to ask!

9 "Overseeing" Social Media Pics, Kanye Has A Giant Opinion

Risqué, clothing being optional and always out to surprise people. Probably a pretty good summary of Kim's social media behaviour. When Kim appeared on The Ellen Show in 2018, she did reveal that Kanye attempts to control it.

"And you can get into trouble with your husband sometimes over too many photos like that." Kim did add, "Sometimes, you just gotta do things for the 'gram," E! News reports.

This followed a confession from Kim that Kanye "wanted them to all match up and be all from the motel," MSN reports. Kanye wasn't happy with Kim's choice of pics, and yes, he did attempt to take over.

8 "Well, If It's Going To Be Our Daughter, She's Never Going To Wear Those"

Ouch. A girl's self-esteem can be really dampened by negative comments. When you're Kim Kardashian-West though, you get Kanye's opinion. As SHEMazing reports Kim saying,

"I said to Kanye: Well, I'm going to save them for my daughter one day. And he said: 'Well, if it's going to be our daughter, she's never going to wear those!'"

North West is now considered so stylish, Vogue's headlines are: "The Pillars Of North Wests's capsule wardrobe." Looks like this relationship comes with a bigger pill to swallow, though. "Kanye doesn't want her doing any more reality television than she is contractually obligated to do. If Kim does agree to film, it will likely be without Kanye's knowledge beforehand!"

The media outlet added a source saying: "[Kris Jenner] is furious because she is feeling the pressure from E! and Ryan Seacrest Productions to have Kim on the show instead of her other daughter, Kourtney." Weirdly, Kim seems to have complied with Kanye here.

The internet isn't quite breaking with KimYe's fourth baby news, but it will come May 2019. North West. One syllable, definitely easy. Likewise, Saint West. Chicago kind of breaks the pattern, but it's far from difficult to spell.

Kris Jenner actually revealed that Kim had told her North West was "their highest point together," as E! reports. Given Kanye's love of simple fashion and avoiding frills, we can kind of see this one.

5 And She Didn't Pick And Choose Those Pregnancy Wardrobes

Kim's first pregnancy came with, well, a bit of a "Kim" look. By the time Kim was expecting Saint though, everything had changed. Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy. For a girl who was about to pop, skintight dresses and lace-up gladiator heels don't exactly scream "comfort."

The bigger that bump got, the more we kinda winced looking at Kim. Nevertheless, Kim continues to credit Kanye for revamping her style. It goes further, though. As Radar Online reports:

Please– a girl has her squad. Whether it's Penny, Bernadette and Amy on The Big Bang Theory or real-life ones from Taylor Swift, your besties are where it's at. Kim mostly hangs out with her ultra-famous sisters, but she's got a social life outside the house.

Her Beauty reports that friends "need to be approved first." And yes, the media outlet means by Kanye. Kim's old friends included Paris Hilton (although we see a lot less of her these days).

In 2018, Kim confided in her BFF Larsa Pippen on KUWTK. Whether or not Larsa was vetted by Kanye isn't something we'll ever know. Given this report, we'll assume it's a yes.

2 Clearing Up The Mess After Feuds Is Left To Kim

Kanye West probably feuds more than any other celeb. Nobody has forgotten Kanye interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs, although it took a staggering 10 years for this one to be laid to rest. Who did the legwork? Kim, apparently.

"Over it. I feel like we've all moved on," Kim said in 2019. Kanye and Taylor are still not communicating, though.

As Capital FM reports, Kim is totally done with the whole feud. The radio station nevertheless did stress that there's no communication between Tay-Tay and Kanye. Well, Kim did her best. If you're into feuds and this one seems old, don't worry. Nicki Minaj to the rescue!
