19 2019 Will Be A Big Year For Him

It looks like 2019 is going to be a big year for Noah Centineo. He’s going to be in the reboot of Charlie’s Angels which already has a cast that includes Elizabeth Banks and Kristen Stewart. Filming has already begun for the movie and we wonder what role he’ll be playing. He’s also set to star in a romantic comedy called The Stand-In. He will play Brooks Rattigan, “a high-school senior trying to make some cold, hard cash by pretending to be various girls' boyfriend,” as Elle reports.

He is also coming back for a sequel to the movie, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

18 He Was Goofy In High School

Let’s be honest, high school for Noah wasn’t that long ago but he wasn’t a jock in high school, he was the goofy guy. Seventeen reports him saying,

"I was like this tiny little kid [who] was goofy and would always crack jokes or sit in the back of class and not listen to anything that the teacher was saying. I didn't do well in school, and I didn't really care to cater to certain social structures that were in place to be cool."

17 He’s Not Afraid To Love

Noah has stated that he learned some lessons while filming the movie, To All The Boys I’ve Love Before. He told Buzzfeed these lessons include,

"Not to be afraid to love in the first place, or to love again. We get our hearts broken, and it hurts, and we don't think that we're ever going to recover from that, but you can and you do. You just have to open yourself to it."

16 He’s Gone To A Lot Of Auditions But Hasn’t Always Got The Role

Noah still has to go to auditions to get roles and he doesn’t always get the part. He has two movies on Netflix that were romantic comedies and he was close to getting a third one.

"I auditioned for the leading role in The Kissing Booth that came out on Netflix, funny enough," he told Buzzfeed. "I've auditioned for practically everything that's come out—a lot of actors have."

15 He Has Coveted Childhood Items

We all have things from our childhood that we consider to be sentimental. You might be surprised to know that Noah still has a beloved stuffed toy from his childhood, and if that isn’t the cutest thing we have ever heard, then we don’t know what is. He told Sweety High,

"I had two things. I had a little blankey. You couldn't pry it from my infant fingers. I also had a bunny. His name was Mr. Bun-Bun, and they were mine and I had to sleep with them. If I didn't have them, then I would not go to sleep. I don't know where the blanket went, but I definitely have Mr. Bun-Bun. I keep him really safe in South Florida where I grew up. I don't want to corrupt him with Los Angeles."

There's even more cuteness: he's adopted lots of dogs, as Scoop Whoop reports. Seems they're now his RL teddy bears!

14 He Believes In Confronting His Fears

A lot of people hold back on going after their dreams because fear holds them back. Noah is a big believer in confronting your fears head-on.

"I think embracing your insecurities is so important in life," he told Brief Take. "I was having a panic attack once and I saw this sign that said 'what you avoid controls you,' and it's so true!"

It’s great advice and something for everyone to think about.

13 He’s Big Into Self-Love

It’s a big thing nowadays to really want to take care of oneself. It certainly is with women and it shouldn’t be any different for men. We love this picture because having breakfast never looked so good. Noah is someone that believes in well-being and taking care of himself.

He told Teen Vogue that he likes "working out, hiking, meditation, yoga, hanging out with my friends," and these, of course, are all healthy habits. He also made the decision to be sober since his 21st birthday because he realized that he’s "been partying like crazy" and "running on fumes," as Bustle reports.

12 He Has Advice That Makes Him Laugh

A lot of times we get good advice that we carry with us throughout our lives and Noah is no different. He has a piece of advice that makes him laugh. Buzzfeed reports him saying that the best advice he's ever received is,

"'Cheer up, you're worse than you think.'" He adds, "If I ever feel like I'm messing up, making the worst decisions, or I'm just lesser than—if I'm being self-deprecating—I just think, 'Cheer up, dude, you're a lot worse than you think.' It makes me laugh. It takes me out of it. The second best is, 'Breathe.'"

11 He’s From The Disney Channel

Yes, he’s part of the Disney alum like so many other cool stars. A lot of young actors get their start from the Disney channel and Noah was no different. His roles were only minor but he appeared on shows such as Shake It Up!, Jessie, Austin & Ally and the Disney Channel Original movie, How to Build a Better Boy.

Sometimes you have to start at the bottom to get where you want to be and it looks like he finally made it.

10 He’s Been In A Music Video

Hold your horses! This is exciting news. You might think that you have seen Noah before and you would be right. He was featured as Camila Cabello’s love interest in the music video for the song "Havana". He played a romantic character in the video - no surprises there - and he’s romantic in real life, too. As he told Sweety High on the red carpet,

"Actually, asking people out on dates, and taking them to dinner or lunch or coffee, or whatever it is. I feel like my generation connects over the phone way too much, and it would be great for people to actually be there in person."

9 He Has A Huge Crush On Selena Gomez

We all have a celebrity crush and in Noah’s case, it’s Selena Gomez. He’s been trying to get her attention via social media for a while now. He posted a comment on manager Nick Styne’s social media when he saw a picture of him hugging Selena Gomez, stating, “Bahhhhh she’s gorgeous.”

He also told Seventeen, “Selena Gomez seems like one of the coolest people ever. And she's an activist, as well. And clearly she loves love and is a loving person. I don't know if it's clear because I don't know her, but it feels that way."

8 He Connected With Lana From TATBILB

Sometimes while filming, two actors connect in such a way that they establish a friendship for life. That was the case with Noah’s TATBILB co-star, Lana Condor. Entertainment Tonight reports him saying,

“We just have similar perspectives on life. Our outlooks are similar and we just really like to talk and communicate. We got to know each other really well, so that made it really easy."

7 He Uses Writing For Healing

We definitely love the strong and sensitive type. Noah is someone who enjoys writing and he uses journaling as a means to release any frustration or pain in his life. He finds the act of writing to be cathartic for him. As he told W Magazine,

"I think I use writing as a catharsis. I feel sometimes that I’d like to share that with people, so Instagram becomes a vehicle."

If he needs to get his thoughts out on paper, then that’s what he does. He would totally be the kind of guy that would write you love letters. What more could you want from a boyfriend?

6 He’s Had A Broken Heart

We’ve all had a broken heart at some point or another in our lives and Noah is only 22 but he’s already experienced it. He told Sweety High,

"I was in relationships when I didn't really know how to love myself fully, and it wasn't until I had my heart broken and I was alone and I learned to live with myself when I was alone, and to know the difference between being lonely and being alone, and it really taught me to find this authentic empowerment within myself."

It sounds like he's definitely grown from the experience.

5 He Loves To Takes Selfies

If you've started following Noah on social media, then you would know that he loves taking a good selfie. He loves the camera and we can hardly dislike him for it because he provides us with some pretty amazing shots. He has some selfie advice for those who are looking to take better pictures. His best tip is to try to get the best lighting possible when you are taking selfies, as Teen Age reports.

Obviously, he looks incredible in his photos so he’s clearly doing something right.

4 He Knows When Something Is Not Meant For Him

It can be hard when we really want something to have to realize that it’s not meant for us. That can be a hard lesson for anyone. But not everything is meant to cross our paths. Noah took to Twitter to talk about how he was given advice from his mom about knowing when something isn’t meant for him.

“My mom says we’re like the sun and the moon,” he wrote, as Elite Daily reports. “Just because two forces are great doesn’t mean they belong together. The rhythm of the world is great because they are in their own orbit.”

3 He Likes To Help Others Actors Out

He actually asks actors in audition rooms if they'd like to run through their lines. What a sweetheart! As E! News reports him saying,

“I ask people to read lines in the audition room if they look nervous! It's always easier if you're running with a stranger before you do it with the casting director. It helps you get the nerves out. And if someone else looks nervous, then it totally is gonna help them too. If you can do it with some random person you just met, you can easily go into a room and do it again.”

2 He Believes In Unconditional Love

Noah would probably be a great guy to date because he believes in unconditional love. He recently took to Twitter to talk about unconditional love and his words were incredibly moving.

“Love has no requirements,” the actor wrote, as The Odyssey reports. “That’s what makes it Love. If your Love for another carries requirements, it is not Love, but a counterfeit version.”

He’s a pretty deep guy for someone so young.

1 He Has A Group Chat To Uplift His Friends

Noah keeps in touch with his co-stars from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and they lift each other up during group chats.

“There is a To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before group chat,” he revealed, as Elite Daily reports. “The last thing we talked about — it was so much love. It was like right before the premiere and we were all like, ‘Oh my god! It’s time! We’re doing this! I’m so proud of you and I’m so proud of you and I love you! And I love you as well!’ It was just like super, super loving and we were hyping up the premiere because we were all super nervous for it.”
