MAC recently launched their new Monochrome collection, which features several of their most popular lipstick shades revamped as brand new products.

MAC is that brand that everyone seems to own a few staples from, particularly when it comes to their lipsticks. These high-quality, long-lasting pigments are typically worth the splurge, and many people regard MAC lipsticks as total must-haves for their makeup collection. Now, you can play with those same pigments and get a rosy glow on your cheeks and eyes, too!

So, what exactly is included in the MAC In Monochrome collection, and which lipsticks were popular enough to merit getting an entire complementary collection? Six lipsticks—Ruby Woo, Velvet Teddy, Diva, See Sheer, Candy Yum-Yum, and Heroine—are now part of the new line. Each mini collection will include the lipstick, a matte eyeshadow, a frost eyeshadow, a lipglass, a powder blush, and glitter.

Why did MAC debut the In Monochrome collection? The goal is to give their fans the ability to create an old school, monochrome look using the same pigment for their full face. But the possibilities are endless with these products. Sure, you could splurge on one set of colors and go all out with Ruby Woo or Velvet Teddy—or perhaps you could pick up a See Sheer lipstick, Candy Yum-Yum blush, and Heroine glitter to see what looks you can create when you combine all three pigments.

The MAC In Monochrome collection is available online as of January 7. However, a select few products will also be available at some MAC counters as of January 10. So if you want to pick up Ruby Woo, See Sheer, or Velvet Teddy products in person, you’ll have the ability to do so this weekend. If you just can’t wait to get your hands on these products, you can order them online right now. Prices for each of the products in the collection range from $17 to $24. Like all MAC products, they’re an investment, but they are worth the money.
