Popular YouTube beauty guru Lisa Eldridge just revealed that she is finally launching her first original makeup collection.
Eldridge has been a YouTube sensation for years, and her thorough tutorials and classy, professional looks have earned her 1.8 million followers. But getting creative with tutorials is a completely different endeavor from creating your own line of cosmetics! Her fans have been waiting for her to release her own products for years, and this holiday season, they are finally getting their wish.
Eldridge became the creative director of Lancôme back in 2015, but she has never created her own products until now. On November 14th, Eldridge revealed that she has created her own small lipstick collection, which was totally fitting for this guru—a classic red lip is her signature look. The collection includes three gorgeous shades of high-quality lipstick in the shades Velvet Morning, Velvet Jazz, and Velvet Ribbon.
Where did Eldridge get the idea for this collection? She says that it came to her in a dream years ago, and she has spent a long time getting everything exactly right. The formula for her lipstick is completely cruelty-free. Eldridge also says that wearers will get a different finish depending on how they apply the lipstick. Applying the pigment straight from the tube will result in a velvety finish, whereas people who want a stained finish should gently pat the lipstick on with their fingers.
So, where can you find these lipsticks, and when can you add them to your makeup bag? The collection will go on sale on Eldridge’s website on November 19th. Each lipstick will be priced at $34 individually, or you have the option to purchase the complete collection for $97 with a bonus velvet pouch. The products will ship worldwide.
