Set to premiere in 2019, Lohan’s Beach Club is what fans of actress Lindsay Lohan have been waiting for. The MTV docuseries, about Lohan’s expanding nightclub and restaurant business, will feature an “exclusive seaside destination” which “will serve as a backdrop for the series.”
MTV also revealed that the resort where the show is set “features luxury spa amenities, a renowned restaurant and a transformative day and nightclub poised to redefine the Mykonos experience.” It’s official: LiLo is back, and fans can’t wait!
Fans have seen the actress in many roles, not just in iconic films like Mean Girls and The Parent Trap, but in life too. She’s released music, signed up as a spokesperson for businesses and charities, and was, at one stage, the Hollywood it-girl. The show will give fans a chance to see the star in a completely different role, a far cry from those she’s played in the past.

She’s been notoriously private since moving out of the United States, and the reality show may give her a chance to reveal anything that’s been happening in her life.
24 A Greek Setting Is In Store
The show will take a place a long way away from the streets of Hollywood, on the Greek island of Mykonos. Mykonos itself is known for being a party island, but this time Lohan will be taking a whole new role. In addition to the Lohan Beach House in Mykonos, where the show will be set, Lohan also owns the Lohan Beach House in Rhodes. 23 But There May Be Desert Influences
Now at the age of 32, Lohan resides in Dubai, a city in the United Arab Emirates. Culturally speaking, the city couldn’t be further away from New York where the actress was born, or Los Angeles where she spent her teen years.
There is essentially no paparazzi to bother Lohan in the UAE, not everyone knows who she is, and there’s a far greater sense of peace, which is what she was looking for after leaving Hollywood.
The show is set in Greece, but maybe Lohan will bring some of that desert influence to the screen? We’ll have to wait and see!

It’s true that Mykonos is known for being a party island, however, Lohan has said that she wants her resort to be family-friendly. “I really wanted to make it a place where people can go with their kids and feel safe,” she said. Online reviews of the beach club suggest that it’s not just a place for the world’s elite since pricing is quite reasonable. On Trip Advisor, it actually falls under mid-range pricing and is in line with all the other restaurants and resorts in Mykonos.
21 Lindsay Is A Whole New Person
One of the most exciting things we’re anticipating from the comeback is seeing a whole new side to Lohan.
Sources have revealed that after getting away from Hollywood and taking back the control over her life, she’s a totally changed woman.
“She now feels safe and has got good people around her. She’s grown up a lot and is even turning up for work on time—sometimes early!” Lohan herself told The New York Times that it’s time to let go of the past because she’s a new person.

Part of Lohan’s new image is being a boss and getting things done. The focus of the show will be the actress organizing a team of staff in order to grow her nightclubs in Greece and leading the brand ambassadors who will help to promote her business. Lohan herself may have left her wild nights of partying behind her, but that doesn’t mean she’s opposed to watching other people party. In fact, if she wants to do her job and oversee things at the club, she’ll have to! The beach where Lohan’s club is located in actually the same beach where she became entangled in a scuffle with her then-fiance Egor Tarabasov in 2016.
So it’s possible that she may have to face some of the emotional baggage that the place brings up for her.
She has credited her public falling out with Tarabasov as a turning point in her life, and how it actually inspired her professional comeback. “That was the moment where I switched and I was like, ‘I’m going to take control of my life completely …’”
16 A Hint Of A New Makeup Brand May Be Revealed
Though the focus of the show will be on Lohan’s new club, there may be mention of her other business ventures. It’s been reported that she’s currently developing her very own makeup brand, so it’s possible that we’ll get to hear more about that from Lohan herself. In addition to her cosmetics line, Lohan is also the face of Lawyer.com, an online legal consultation business, and a sponsor of the show. And of course, she’s still acting in a few Netflix projects.
15 As Well As Her Humanitarian Endeavors
There’s also the chance that Lohan will talk about her other passions, including her role as a humanitarian. In particular, Lohan feels strongly about refugees from the middle east in Europe.
Since taking a showbiz hiatus, she has visited refugee camps in Turkey and has even met with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, to talk about solutions to the refugee crisis.
The show is expected to have more of a light-hearted vibe, but being so passionate, Lohan may bring up some of these bigger issues.

Something else that Lohan may mention in front of the cameras? The possibility of becoming a mom in the future. She’s so often been the victim of rumors and people speaking on her behalf, so it will be a welcome change to hear Lohan’s truth.
“I could so 99 things right and one thing wrong, but it’s that one thing that will be focused on,” she said. “Behind the scenes I do what I can to be the best version of me, which never gets mentioned.”

The setting is a beach club on a world-famous party island. Naturally, there’s going to be some pretty good DJs playing. When you throw in the fact that the boss is a household name, and there are lots of silent investors behind the scenes, you can probably assume that a few big names on the music scene may arrive in Mykonos to play at Lohan’s club. Especially since the show is airing on MTV, the music should be pretty impressive.
7 Lindsay Giving Rules Rather Than Disobeying Them
We love Lindsay, but she has been known to disobey the rules from time to time, to the point of getting herself in trouble with the law.
But the tables are turned on this show since Lohan will be giving rules rather than not following them.
Already, she was seen commenting on a photo of two waitresses at her Rhodes club on IG that they need to be wearing matching shoes. Lohan’s been described as the staff’s “toughest boss yet” and we can’t wait to see her get things done!

Something tells us that if the staff doesn’t follow the strict rules that Lohan sets out for them, they’re going to be given the flick. In the trailer, Panos was very clear: “Everybody is replaceable.” The staff has revealed that they’re nervous about impressing Lohan, who admitted that if you want to succeed in her business, you have to be “the best of the best.” We can’t wait to see who thrives under the pressure and who ends up on a plane back to America.
5 A Not-So Extravagant Restaurant On The Premises
There are detailed reviews of Lohan’s beach club available online, and they surprisingly reveal that the restaurant on the premises isn’t actually as impressive as you’d think it would be.
The menu basically consists of light bites, appetizers, and drinks to enjoy while on the beach.
There’s Greek salad available (of course), ceviche, club sandwiches and burgers, light desserts, and vegetarian wraps. We suppose you don’t feel like heavy food when you’re lounging on the beach anyway!
4 Perhaps Some Conflict Through Unsatisfied Customers
While many of the reviews have been positive, there have also been negative responses from people who have visited Lohan’s club. This means there’s a chance that unsatisfied customers may feature on the show, and make things even more difficult for the staff. The main complaints in the online reviews were that the employees weren’t as polite as they could have been, the food was overpriced for what it was, and there was not enough happening around the club.

Some fans are wondering whether the elements of the show will be scripted because many of the reviews suggest that the club is actually quiet in real life.
“Unsure as whether this has closed down for the season or for good?” asked one visitor. “We went down on a Quade and it was just a shell of a place. Empty bar and all that remained was a fish tank which I hope someone is looking after the fish that are inside?” Yikes!

A romance between co-workers can get messy at the best of times, but there’s all the more pressure when your place of work is a beach club, your boss is an international star, and there are cameras watching your every move. In the trailer, Panos revealed that co-workers are dating and it’s a “recipe for disaster.” We’re excited to see which of the staff members hit it off and whether they can keep from being distracted from the job at hand.
1 We'll See Lindsay’s Glorious Return To Red Hair
Over the years, Lohan has had black hair, blonde hair, and everything in between. But we first met her when she was a gorgeous little redhead playing twins in The Parent Trap, and so our favorite look on her is her natural red.
Although she was recently spotted in Mykonos sporting black hair, she appears with ginger locks in the trailer for the show.
We can only hope that we’ll get to see her flaunting it when it premieres in January!
