Supermodel Lily Aldridge, who has appeared as a Victoria's Secret Angel and a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model, always looks fresh and flawless. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she shared the secrets to her glowing skin.
“I take the time to really love my skin and I love a good sheet mask. 111SKIN makes my favorite. I also love the La Mer soft moisturizer, and I never forget oil-free sunblock,” she says.
This busy mother of one will be giving birth to her second child any day now. Aldridge, 33, is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill and gave birth to their first child, Dixie Pearl Followill, on June 21, 2012. Aside from modelling, Aldridge is also actively involved in charity work for organizations such as the American Foundation for AIDS Research, the GOOD+ Foundation™, the Happy Hearts Fund and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
When she finds time to relax, she likes to enjoy a bubble bath with Goop bath salts and a Byredo candle. Her favorite scent is Burning Rose. She also loves a Shani Darden facial in Los Angeles. Darden, a renowned celebrity aesthetician, is famous for effectively and naturally treating skin conditions like acne, pigmentation, rosacea, ageing skin and sun damage.
To maintain her healthy glow, Aldridge likes the RMS Beauty ‘Un’ Cover-Up mixed with the RMS Beauty Highlighter. She also braids her hair while doing her make-up for a simple wave. “I will usually loosely braid it as soon as I'm out of the shower and let it dry like that,” she says.
The best beauty advice she has received is to take the time to blend when putting on make-up, especially foundations, in order to ensure a natural look. She always swears by sunblock to prevent ageing.
Aldridge, who was born in Santa Monica, California, grew up in a fashion-conscious family. The daughter of English artist Alan Aldridge and Playboy Playmate Laura Lyons, she has a brother and two sisters. Her sister Saffron Aldridge was the face of Ralph Lauren in the 1990s, her brother Miles Aldridge is a fashion photographer and was married to supermodel Kristen McMenamy, and her sister Ruby Aldridge was the face of Marc by Marc Jacobs.

After attending high school in London, Aldridge began modelling at 16 for Abercrombie & Fitch. She has appeared on the covers of French Glamour, Vogue Mexico, Elle Korea, Elle Brazil, Elle Vietnam, Allure Russia, Tatler, 10 magazine, S Moda and Esquire Mexico.
