Pop singer Lana Del Rey is known for two things: her amazing music and her stunning beauty. Each has become her trademark one way or another, making her unique among all other musicians. Her looks are definitely of note, what with her retro-inspired hair and slick cat-eye that complements her style. But a recent Instagram post has proven that she's just as stunning without the extra glitz and glamour.
The 33-year-old New York native posted a selfie on her Instagram account that shows her makeup-free face. She has a simple smile etched on her face as she sits inside a car. It doesn't include a caption, making her natural beauty the focal point of the post.

As of now, the post has received over 1.4 million likes and over 32,000 comments. Many of the comments— a majority of them most likely from Del Rey's 12 million plus Instagram followers— are positive, pointing out how beautiful the "Mariners Apartment Complex" singer looks in her post. Her glowing complexion, bare eyes, and relaxed dark brown lob— a rare sight as pointed out by several fans— has resulted in much praise.
In addition to how refreshing it is to see Del Rey with no makeup on, fans also adored the fact that she'd post such a photo in the first place. After all, Del Rey hasn't been known to do such a thing on a regular basis. Some fans even went so far as to point out how young the singer looks in her post.
It's clear that the singer's style continues to evolve away from her going makeup-free. After attending the Met Gala with a long-haired wig, and then going to the Grammys with hair going just past her shoulders, Del Rey is now rocking shoulder-length locks. Before that, she posted a now-deleted Instagram video of her filling in her eyebrows, tweaking her existing freckles, and creating a soft brown cat-eye instead of jet black.
Needless to say, Del Rey's fans will be eagerly anticipating her every style move as she continues to try different things. Her evolution in beauty will definitely be something to keep an eye on.
