Lancôme To Drop Limited Edition 'La Rôse À Poudrer' In A Brand New Shade

When Lancôme launched its limited-edition La Rôse à Poudrer as part of its Spring 2017 collection, fans loved it. Unfortunately, the powder highlighter, which was infused with vitamin E and triglycerides that wore comfortably all day long, has since been discontinued.

Now, Lacôme has announced that it will debut a limited-edition gold version of La Rôse à Poudrer, a multi-tasking illuminating powder, in a customized gold, fifties Bijou box that features a gilded rose. Needless to say, Lancôme fans are ecstatic. Rachael Stephens wrote, “Is this a fad? Yes. Am I getting it? Hell yes!”

La Rôse à Poudrer was described by Lacôme as “one of the most beautiful surprises” in the Spring 2017 collection. “The petals of the flower deliver the right dose of pink mother-of-pearl highlighter that we just drop, here and there, on the face, neck and décolleté.” The highlighter came with the option of purchasing the matching Parisian Kabuki brush, to gently swirl the rose before lightly sweeping it upon your face.

The original product received rave reviews. Ella P. from Aberdeen wrote, "I absolutely loved the powder. It looked great with my skin tone considering I had not heard other great things about it. I loved the color and would totally recommend it to anyone. The blush always stayed true to its color and lasted throughout the day! Amazing product!"

Hunter W. From Warren, OH, said, "This blush is just beautiful. How can you not absolutely fall in love with the design? I love the color as well as the product itself. It is very pigmented and glides on smoothly and blends out effortlessly!"

The gold version of La Rôse à Poudrer is part of Lancôme's holiday collection, though there is no release date set just yet. However, it should be available within the next couple of months, perhaps by late October when the brand usually launches their holiday products.

In the meantime, if you have $1,300 to spare, you can check out Lâncome's Parfait de Rôses Edition d'Art limited edition perfume, which comes in a beautiful stained-glass bottle, and is a homage to the brand's founder Armand Petitjean. The perfume is part of the new Maison Lancôme collection of fragrances. "Each fragrance is crafted in the same manner that one composes a wine of the most superior grade, with a combination of varieties, origins, and extractions that are all specially selected according to precise criteria," Lancôme says.
