Last year, Kylie Jenner was named the world's youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes. Since then she’s had to endure constant teasing from her older sisters, Kendall, Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim.
Kylie, 22, will be appearing on the season premiere of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, alongside mom Kris, where she discusses sibling rivalry, her relationship with Travis Scott and of course her precious daughter, Stormi. When Ellen asks the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan about what her sisters think of her new status, she says, “Um, it's only when we we're in a group chat talking about how we should go on a trip. Kylie ... question mark, are you gonna pay for it? But they're all really proud of me, for sure.”
DeGeneres then asks, “Do they really expect you to pay for all of the stuff?” Before she can answer, Kris, 63, interjects, “No, they don't really.' She then joked: 'Just my stuff.”
Kylie’s earnings mostly stem from the success of Kylie Cosmetics. She launched the brand in 2015 with three Lip Kits and it soon became a sensation on social media. Last year, the company joined forces with Ulta and its revenue soared 9 percent to an estimated $360 million. The overall value of the brand is estimated by Forbes to be at $900 million.
Kylie’s also earns money from product endorsements like sponsored Instagram posts for Fit Tea Wraps, waist trainer company Waist Gang Society and many more. Add to that her earnings from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Kendall + Kylie clothing line and her Adidas partnership. Despite her massive success, Kylie knows that she owes much of it to her 145 million Instagram followers.
“It’s the power of social media,” Kylie told Forbes. “I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything. I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”
On Ellen, the beauty mogul also talked about her daughter Stormi, saying that she’s the “perfect mix” of her mom and dad, adding that she loves music. Kris then said that her granddaughter reminds her of Kylie.
“She is like a little Kylie. It's really wild, it's like sometimes she looks at you and I have to remind myself - "No, that's my granddaughter, not Kylie,"' Kris says, adding that Stormi started dancing in the dressing room backstage after seeing the audience dance on a monitor.

Kylie and Travis welcomed one-year-old Stormi into the world on February 1, 2018. In Travis's new documentary, Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly, fans can see intimate footage of the couple as Kylie gets ready to give birth. In the scene, Travis holds Kylie's hand to comfort her as she is lying in her hospital bed. Soon after, Khloé can be heard in the background saying, “Travis, cut the cord!”
