After hearing the news that Kylie Jenner may be launching a skincare line soon (based on the fact that she registered three skincare-related trademarks recently), the beauty world is itching to get their hands on some more Kylie Cosmetics products. Get ready, Kylie fans, because the 21-year-old makeup mogul is answering your prayers—a Halloween-themed makeup collection is coming this month, and it’s three-dimensional.
Jenner hopped on Instagram yesterday to announce Kylie Cosmetics will be releasing some spooky Halloween makeup products on October 12th. In addition to posting a few sneak peeks of the collection via Instagram Stories throughout the day, she shared some of the products in a photo series on her feed, as well as two shots of her wearing the makeup. The same photos appeared on the official Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account.
The Stories included peeks at a glitter lip gloss, a Vampire-themed lip kit in a shade called “Bite Me,” and some eerily-glowy highlighters. According to Teen Vogue, the collection will also include a mummy-themed eyeshadow palette with nine shades. Some of the shade names include “Nightmare,” “Bat Sh*t Crazy,” “Hex on My Ex,” and “Hey Pumpkin.” There are also lip and eye shades in “Creep It Real,” “Haunt it,” “Hello Ghordeous” and “Spider Bite.” The reds, oranges, blacks, greens, and purples are a perfect fit for any modern-day makeup-conscious monster. And we do mean any—this collection is skin tone all-inclusive!
The package designs themselves may be enough to lure you into buying the entire Halloween collection. There’s bat, ghost, and mummy patterns lining each box. The highlighters look like blood dripping down a wall. Even Jenner’s classic dripping lip logo is now sporting vampire fangs. Here’s the coolest part—some of the Halloween packaging is 3D. Every order includes a pair of 3D glasses, so you can get in on the ghoulish fun. Don’t get too scared!
Jenner even showed us what the makeup looks like when worn, so we know exactly what we’re getting into. The photo that was shared on Kylie Cosmetics’ Instagram page detailed every part of her nude and yellow look. She wore Bat Sh*t Crazy and Howl-O-Ween eyeshadows on her upper lids. Her lower lash line modeled Hello Ghordeous Glitter Eyes, while Creep It Real matte lipstick covered her lips. We only hope we can beat our faces that well on Halloween.
The Kylie Cosmetics Halloween Collection will be available on kyliecosmetics.com at midnight on October 12th. Snatch these creepy cosmetics up before they’re gone. Are you going to spook up your Halloween look with this collection? Let us know in the comments!
