If you're a fan of author, reality TV star and Uncommon James founder Kristin Cavallari- be it a recent or a long-time fan- you may be a fan of E!'s Very Cavallari. It's a reality show that follows the lives of Cavallari and her husband, former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. During the first season, the show was set in a lavish mansion that's located in Nashville, Tennessee. As beautiful as it is, it doesn't seem to be an easy proper place to sell.
The couple's mansion has had yet another price reduction- this time, it's to the tune of about $1 million. The gorgeous property has been on the market since June of 2018- over a year ago. Back then, it was initially listed at $7.9 million. But after this second reduction in price, its current asking price is $5.75 million instead.
For context, Cavallari and Culter purchased the place for a solid $5.3 million back in 2012. They raised their three kids- Camden, seven; Jaxon, five; and Saylor, three- up until last year. That's when the family of five moved to Leiper’s Fork, a town that's located roughly 30 miles south of Nashville. Yet the couple is still being forced to lower their asking price in a feeble attempt to sell it and finally get it off their hands.
This mansion is just under 20 000 square feet and has seven bedrooms and seven full bathrooms. There are also five fireplaces located throughout, a three-car main level garage, a four-car garage located within the lower level of the house and a finished basement. According to Cavallari, the finished basement contains a cigar room, a glass sauna, a wet bar, and a "wine cove". The house's overall style is casually elegant and sophisticated, complete with real stucco and a tile roof. Finally, it sits comfortably on 8.56 acres within a gated community of Nashville’s Forest Hills neighborhood.
Overall, the mansion is beautiful and luxurious- perfect for anyone who's able to front the money to cover the still astronomically high price tag. While you may think that Cavallari and Cutler are about ready to let go of their old home, the latter admits that it'll be hard when the time comes to sell it.
"This house has a lot to offer," Cutler admitted in a past interview. "We have a lot of memories in that house, and we will miss it. We got married and had three children since we have owned that house, so it’s been a huge part of our life, and hopefully, someone will enjoy it as much as we have."
