Kris Jenner, momager extraordinaire, has followed in her kids’ footsteps and debuted a new ‘do for 2019. The matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner clan posted an Instagram pic of her new cut, which was designed by celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons last weekend. Her new look, a topknot with asymmetrical fringe bangs and soft brown highlights, looks a bit like one of Kim’s old ‘dos.
“Something new 💕A little 60’s vibe on the beautiful @KrisJenner today,” Fitzsimons captioned a pic of Jenner with her new cut.
"She wanted to try something new and showed me a few reference photos of a similar style," Fitzsimons told Allure. "Her hair is longer now than it has been in a while, so I was able to create this style without a wig. I prepped her hair with a strong-hold mousse, backcombed the hair on top, and formed it into a French twist. I did add just a couple of extensions in the back to give the topknot some additional volume. I secured everything with diamond bobby pins and sprayed all over with a high hold hair spray."
Though Fitzsimons says he didn’t add much to Jenner’s hair, her mane looks significantly longer than it did four days ago when she attended the annual Art of Elysium Gala, where she wore a Peter Dundas gown and her signature black pixie cut.
Both Kim and Kris have undergone numerous cosmetic changes in the past few years, yet they have never looked more alike. Jenner seems to have adopted her daughter’s cheekbones, smoky eyes, and now hair. Last year, Jenner matched Kim’s platinum blond look with her own platinum pixie. Mom certainly has a weak spot for Kim, who is the primary reason for the family’s fame.
Jenner, who turned 63 last November, seems determined to not grow old gracefully but to fight it every step of the way. She readily admits to having cosmetic surgery, including breast implants and a neck lift, as well as botox, fillers and laser treatments, though she says she has never had her nose done. There are reports, however, that she’s had her ears and eyes altered. She has also stressed the importance of managing stress adequately, getting enough sleep and eating well.

Though they haven’t been seen together lately, Jenner is reportedly still dating Corey Gamble, a road manager who has worked with Justin Bieber. Gamble, 38, is said to have met Jenner in 2014 at the chief creative officer of Burberry Riccardo Tisci's 40th birthday party. Though there have been rumors of the couple getting engaged, it is still unclear what their plans are.
