Kith, an NYC sneaker shop founded by designer Ronnie Fieg in 2010, has made a name for itself with its streetwear collections, working with brands like PUMA, ASICS, and New Balance, as well as Polo Ralph Lauren, Red Wings, Saucony, Sebago, Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen, and Timberland. The cult brand has also spawned other high-profile collaborations like Kith x Versace and Kith x Net-a-Porter. Now, Kith will team up with Estée Lauder for a beauty line.

The limited-edition Kith x Estée Lauder collection will feature a beauty kit with five full-size skincare products, which will come in Kith-branded packaging. Though the items included in the kit are not new Estée Lauder's products, the packaging, which is all white with a vintage Estée Lauder logo created in 1946, is spectacular. The five-piece set comes in a transparent lucite train case with gold hardware showcasing the Kith logo. On the inside, there is a canvas bag with a travel-size mirror. The beauty kit retails for $145.

The products include Estée's Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Foam Cleanser/Purifying Mask, Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II, Micro Essence Aquaceutical Mist, Lip Conditioner and Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Creme. To commemorate the collaboration, photographer Philippe Salomon has shot a campaign featuring a diverse range of models wearing no-makeup makeup, and displaying glowing, dewy skin.

The slogan for Kith x Estée Lauder is “Just You,” which plays on Kith’s “Just Us” slogan. “Just You” celebrates the strength of women and their natural beauty, according to the Kith team. Fieg is said to identify with Estée Lauder’s “entrepreneurial spirit and disruptive thinking.”

Feig and Lauder share a similar backstory. The two entrepreneurs were both Queens-born-and-bred who built their companies from the ground up. “She was a tough woman who was able to rise through the ranks and become a trailblazer in her market,” Fieg told Vogue. “My mom has always been my biggest inspiration. She taught me a lot about the value of quality products, and throughout her life, Estée Lauder was the brand she always used. That stuck with me.”

To launch the collaboration, Feig will be recreating Estée Lauder’s office – including wallpaper, furniture, and fixtures – on the third floor of his Soho store. The idea was to pay homage to the beauty legend by telling her life story and letting consumers get a sense of what they are buying, Feig said.

Kith x Estée Lauder will launch on March 15 at 11 am in Kith stores and online.
