Kim Kardashian West, who is battling psoriasis, has revealed her holiday makeup routine as the condition spreads across her face. In a video with Vogue, Kardashian, 38, gave her fans tips on how to achieve the perfect smoky eye, which she applies herself when her team of makeup experts is unavailable.

The reality star begins by applying moisturizer to relieve some of the psoriasis, which she blames on people stressing her out. “Whoever is stressing me out needs to leave me the f*** alone!” she has said.

According to the Mayo Clinic, Psoriasis is a skin condition that accelerates the life cycle of skin cells, causing cells to appear on the surface of the skin. The condition can be itchy and even painful. Though there is no cure, lifestyle changes, such as using moisturizer, not smoking and reducing stress, can help.

Kardashian follows up the moisturizer with a concealer that gives her skin an added glow. Then, she applies powder below her eyes and along her nose and then blends it out with a cream contour across her cheeks.

Kardashian has spoken candidly about her psoriasis on Instagram and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Though she reported some improvement, the condition is apparent on her face. Following the concealer, Kardashian applies the Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation from La Mer and blends it in with a double-ended brush from It Cosmetics. According to the reality star, she still occasionally uses a 12-year-old MAC Kabuki brush, which has since been discontinued.

For her eyebrows, Kardashian uses an Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pencil, possibly the brand's best-selling Brow Wiz. She uses the dual-ended brushes to brush her eyebrows. Though she now sports thicker eyebrows, she used to have pencil-thin eyebrows.

With concealer and powder from her KKW Beauty line she conceals, bakes and brightens her face. She also applies eyeshadow from the KKW Beauty line for her smoky eye look. As for mascara, Kardashian says she doesn’t wear fake lashes. Her lip liner and lipstick are also from her collection. She then applies the KKW Beauty Liquid Concealer below her eyes, across her chin, and on her forehead, blending the product out Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist and using a Beautyblender to apply the concealer.

“When you are a mom you have no time to blend like this,” she says. “So unless I have work and I am getting my hair and makeup done, I do not have time to blend all day. So I try to do it as quick as possible.”

With the KKW Baking Powder, she bakes her eyes and the sides of her nose, applying a generous amount over the concealer to set it in place. Using the KKW Beauty Creme Contour Stick, she intensifies the contours of her face across her cheeks, her jawline, below her lips, and under her hairline, making her nose look smaller. Once her face is finished, Kardashian leaves powder below her eyes to let the concealer set before using the KKW Glam Bible Palette to create a smoky eye, adding some Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Bronzed Bell and KKW Glam Bible Eyeliner.

“I really surprised myself,” she says after she’s done. “I am not a makeup artist and have never claimed to be.” Kardashian will open a KKW Beauty pop-up in Costa Mesa, California.
