Kim Kardashian has confirmed she is making plans for baby number three - although this time she may be using a surrogate. The reality star is hoping her two children, 3-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old son Saint, will be welcoming a new sibling soon as she dreams of extending her family.
Kim previously revealed on her sister Khloe Kardashian's chat show, Kocktails With Khloe, that Kanye was pushing her to have more children. She recalled, "I said no way. I was so set on my two kids and how happy I was with my life the way that it is, but Kanye has been mentioning it every single day lately for the past 10 days."
The 36-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has kept a low profile since her ordeal in Paris, when she was robbed at gunpoint for more than $4 million worth of jewelry. Instead now she chooses to avoid the press by spending time with her rapper husband, 39-year-old Kanye West, and their children at home. She shocked her mother and manager Kris Jenner during a preview clip for the show's next episode as she said, "I've come to the conclusion that I just want to explore surrogacy."
Kim previously had complications during her last pregnancy as she also revealed on the show, "My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. With the issues I had last time, my risk of having pre-eclampsia and placenta accreta are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery."
If Kim chooses to use a surrogate for her next pregnancy, then she will select a woman to become pregnant for her by using artificial insemination or surgical implantation of a fertilized egg. Perhaps her sister Kourtney, who has three children of her own with Scott Disick, would be happy to carry her sister's baby for her?
